Description

According to The New York Times, Rotterdam is in the Top 10 of Places to Go. Why not stay in a unique and typical Dutch building, just outside Rotterdam - a Converted Windmill !!!!

The mill was build in 1836 and helped draining the Zuidplaspolder, a skill where the Dutch are famous for. It's located only 25 minutes. away from Rotterdam City Center and only 5 min. Gouda, famous for its cheese. The old windmills of Kinderdijk (Unesco World Heritage) are also less than 30 minutes away !!!!

The main building - the former windmill itself - is all yours. It caters for a kitchen with separate dining room in the basement, salon on street level, bedroom with double bed on level 1 with bathroom and bath, separate shower and sauna. A third person could sleep in the attic !!!

There is parking space just in front of The Windmill. The center of Rotterdam is only 30 min. away by car. Alternatively you could hop on a train, only 5 min. away, which brings you to Rotterdam Central.

My wife and me will be staying in separate building on the same plot so you will have access to us most of the time for help or tips.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rowena (the owner) a message.

If Rowena (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
