A spacious, stylish apartment built on the walls of a medieval village that has been recently renovated to provide all the mod cons. Be mesmerised by stunning views of the surrounding countryside and farmland while you sit back, relax and soak up the peace and quiet of magical Umbria. This apartment offers you the best of both worlds by being situated within a small, quiet village but close enough to all local amenities including supermarkets, restaurants, bars, sporting facilities including swimming pool, banks, bakeries, butchers, newsagents, etc. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Umbria. It is the perfect base from which to discover and explore all that beautiful, unspoilt Umbria has to offer.

The apartment is very spacious, filled with natural light and tastefully decorated. It is ideally situated on the second level, with only one other apartment in the complex (below) and is reached via a staircase with marble tiles. There is a lovely balcony with amazing views running the full length of the apartment, which can be accessed from both the lounge room and bedroom. Free parking is available nearby in the village carpark but you can drive to the front door of the apartment building to unload. The apartment has WiFi internet access.

You enter the apartment directly into the open plan living/dining area and ahead is a beautiful large hallway that runs the entire length of the apartment. The modern and airy kitchen is fully fitted with 4 burner gas stove, large (90cm wide) electric oven, full-sized fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and all crockery and kitchen utensils necessary for you to prepare and enjoy your fresh local Umbrian cuisine. A large window above the kitchen sink provides plenty of natural light.

The dining room adjoins the kitchen and contains another large window adjacent to the beautifully restored rectangular wooden table with 4 dining chairs. From the dining area, you can look out across the lounge room to the gorgeous valley views. In the colder months, the open plan kitchen/dining/living area is serviced by a stylish electric pellet stufa/fireplace.

The lounge room has French doors that open out onto the full length balcony, with wonderful views of the surrounding landscape including sunflower fields in summer. You will never tire of the ever-changing colours of Umbria and you could easily sit on the balcony from sunrise to sunset. The lounge room is furnished with two leather couches/sofas that seat up to five, a TV cabinet, small coffee table and two sets of bookshelves. There is a large flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo system, DVD movies and books available for use.

The spacious bedroom contains a queen size bed, bedside tables with hand-made ceramic lamps from Orvieto, chest of drawers with mirror above, hanging hooks and two wooden chairs. The bedroom has double French doors leading onto the balcony with stunning countryside views.

The main bathroom consists of a large modern shower with glass panel, toilet and hand basin set in a large wooden bench with a mirror above and towel rack. There is a window at the end of the bathroom for natural light and air, with shutters and fly screen.

At the end of the hallway, there is a study with desk and two chairs leading into a combined laundry/second bathroom. Here you will find the washing machine and laundry sink, second shower and toilet.

All windows and doors in the apartment (except the front door, which leads to the internal stairwell and front door of the building) have fly screens and full length shutters. The apartment is usually very cool in summer but, if needed, there are 2 electric pedestal fans.

The large stone terrace which is accessed from the ground floor of the building was completed in October 2015 and is an ideal place to relax in the mornings with a cup of coffee or in the evenings with a glass of wine. From here, there are still views looking up to the sloping farmland. It is furnished with an outdoor table, 4 outdoor chairs and a stone bench. There is also a wood/coal burning BBQ to use. The stone stairs lead down to a small yard including a vegetable garden, where you may be able to pick your own home-grown vegetables if you are lucky.

There is a good sized swimming pool located within walking distance at a nearby agriturismo that you can use if you buy a meal or pay a small fee. There are larger swimming pool complexes situated in Marsciano (5.5km), Spina (10km) and San Venanzo (15km).

The apartment is ideally situated only 2 hours drive from Rome, 2 hours from Florence and 2 hours to both the east and west coasts. Or maybe you would prefer to simply immerse yourself in the slow-paced Umbrian lifestyle including the delicious local cuisine and wine? This is the perfect place to allow you to do just that.

How do damage deposits work?
