From the owner

Sleeping 1 up to 9 guests, "La Musardiere" is a beautifully renovated 17th century house located in the wonderful hamlet of Mordreuc, with its own beach on the banks of the river Rance.

St Malo, Dinan, Mont St Michel and Dinard are all highly accesible and within easy striking distance from this idyllic setting.

The house is well equipped and is a perfect get-away for couples, family get-togethers and reunions.

The river itself is less than 100 metres away with its own charming sandy beach.

Inside the property you will find everything you need to help ensure you have a wonderful stay.

Ground Floor - Bathroom with shower, kitchen / dining room and glorious sitting room with inglenook fireplace perfect for those colder evenings! There is also a utility room complete with washing machine and tumble dryer.

1st Floor - 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, WC and large family bathroom with bath.

2nd Floor - 1 large twin bedroom with views across the courtyard garden and upper terrace garden, and a grenier/loft room sleeping 3 with views of the river Rance.

This loft room is ideal as a children's bedroom as it is not a private room but instead open-plan to the landing on the 2nd floor. There is also an additional family bathroom with shower on the 2nd floor.

The house also comes complete with a cot and high chair for parties with little ones.

The house is heated not centrally, but room-by-room control with electric radiators.

Outside in the suntrap courtyard rear garden there is a patio area complete with teak furniture, small lawn area and covered seating / bbq area. The large upper terrace garden is laid to lawn and is perfect for views across the river towards Plouer and for catching the setting sun at the end of day.

For immediate shopping the nearby village of Pleudihen is 5 minute drive away which offers a boulangerie, small supermarket, bank, post office and pharmacy.

Larger supermarkets can be found towards St Malo as well as Dinan - both approximately a 15 minute drive away.

The beautiful towns of Dinan, Dinard & St Malo which are all a 20 minute drive away offer a rich mix of history, culture and beautiful Brittany beaches in the case of the latter 2. There are also plenty of other local attractions in the area.

Please note:

Strictly no pets and no smoking.

The staircase is quite steep and so may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.

The house does not offer a television.

The house is limited to 6 adults, 3 children & 1 infant/baby.

Linens and bath towels are included. We only ask that you bring beach towels!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send James (the owner) a message.

If James (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
