Shaftsborough Caravan is set in a lovely rural location between Woolacombe and Lee with beautiful countryside views towards Lee Bay, surrounded by farmland and a private garden.

It comfortably sleeps 6 people with a seperate double room, a seperate twin room and a pull out sprung sofa bed in the living area. A gas cooker, gas hot water and a gas fire are all available for free use with the electric. Fully equipped kitchen including a gas cooker, a fridge and a microwave. Free WI-FI is available in the farmhouse if required. The private garden has table and chairs including 2 recliners, a washing line and a BBQ available on request. Duvets and pillows are provided, but linen and and towels are at an extra cost

Local attractions include surfing, horse riding, golf, coasteering and kayaking.

Nearby is the award winning Woolacombe Beach with 3 miles of golden sand and Excellent water quality classification, Putsborough Sands and the secluded Rockham Beach in Mortehoe and Croyde Bay. The North Devon coastal paths offer spectacular views and the enjoyment of National Trust destinations. You can explore Exmoor National Park as it is only a 10 mile drive away.

The popular fishing town of Ilfracombe is nearby where you can visit the world famous Damian Hirst's Verity statue, fantastic restaurants serving glorious seafood or go on a fishing/scenic boat trip locally or to Lundy Island.

The quaint quiet village of Lee Bay is just down the road with a lovely beach ideal for rock pooling and a lovely bayside cafe to sit and take in the scenery.

Very nice and quiet for relaxing. Good for the whole family, we enjoyed it very much. The cottage was very nice and clean. Great location.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Margaret (the owner) a message.

If Margaret (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
