Stutts Creek Retreat is an Air Conditioned, private retreat on 5.5 acres , on a hill overlooking the Stutts Creek. The cottage is located only 15 minutes SE of Munising or 6 miles S of Shingleton. The cottage is approximately 1600 sq. ft and has enough sleeping space for 8 to 12 guests! We are smoke free at the cottage. You are welcome to bring your dog with prior approval and an additional fee. The property is wooded, private and just a perfect place to get away from your busy lifestyle if only for a little while. Bring your canoe or kayak and fish for brook trout in this river. If you can tear yourself away from this comfortable setting, Munising and Pictured Rocks is only a short 15 mile drive. So, you can still take in Lake Superior and all that Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore has to offer!

The cottage is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The living room includes luxurious leather furniture, north woods lamps and chandeliers, 48" T.V. with deluxe satellite package and a view of the creek. There is a small den off of the living room that overlooks the creek and has a double size futon for relaxing or additional sleeping space, a desk and a rocking chair. There is so much for you here at the Stutts Creek Retreat, it's impossible to list everything!

The full kitchen includes: granite counters, gas range, large refrigerator, table and chairs underneath an antler chandelier, dishwasher, garbage disposal, 4 slice toaster, coffee maker, automatic ice maker, lots of cupboards, great well water for drinking, Pampered Chef pizza stones and other Pampered Chef products, plates, glasses, silverware, cooking and baking supplies, hand mixer and much more! You can access the deck from the kitchen where you can make use of the gas grill and picnic table and gather with family to enjoy a wonderful cookout. Watch the wildlife in the river, including swan, deer, and a moose has been seen in the past! Stutts Creek Retreat will be a place where you can catch up with nature, relax & read on the deck, fish for brook trout or just sit in front of the TV on a rainy day. Enjoy your evenings stargazing while making s'mores over the campfire.

The large master bedroom has 2 queen size beds, T.V. with satellite and en-suite bathroom with large shower. The family style loft has 1 queen size bed and 5 twin size beds. The loft overlooks the breathtaking creek. Enjoy the swans, otter, deer, wild turkey and other wildlife throughout the season. This beautiful cottage has wood floors and carpeting throughout. The cottage is decorated with a North Woods theme. The second full bathroom with shower is just across from the laundry area. You can enter the mudroom through a second entry to this cottage…a great place to keep all of your outdoor gear.
