Twin Lakes Lodge has a new owner for 2012! The rustic style will appeal to every sense. The Lodge is clean, roomy and modern. It will comfortably sleep 8 people and up to 12 if needed. Rustic combined with solitude equals total enjoyment. Twin Lakes Lodge is a rustic cottage located in the heart of Upper Michigan’s Mid-west and the Summer Place NOT too miss. Twin Lakes Lodge has 3 bedrooms (including the loft) and 1 bathroom. The great room is fully equipped with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Two bedrooms on the main floor have a qeen bed + 2 full sized beds. The loft is a generous size and overlooks the great room. You will find 2 more full sized beds and a queen sofa sleeper/sitting area in the loft. The bathroom is on Main floor and has a shower and bath towels. All rooms offer plenty of space for visiting, relaxing and playing games. The lodge itself is set back away from the lake, allowing privacy for guests. There is plenty of room for parking including your 4 wheelers and trailers! The kitchen is fully stocked with a full size Refrigerator, stove-oven, microwave and coffee pot and enough table service for 10. In the summer enjoy the fresh herbs growing by the front door. Twin Lakes Lodge is great for the couple that wants to get away and relax; for a group of friends that want to play in the sun; or for a family that wants to get back to nature for a while. Our Little Twin Lake has much to offer - a beautiful, hard sandy bottom for swimming and plenty of fish for you fishing enthusiasts! Species include, Bass, Pike and other Pan Fish. We like to promote “catch and release” so that there will be plenty of fish for the “catching” for generations to come. Past catches include a 28” bass. During your stay at Twin Lakes Lodge, you are welcome to enjoy the pedal boat, canoe, raft and fishing boat. Gas motors are not allowed, but you are welcome to bring an electric motor. Bring your Telescope and fall in love with the Night Time Stars at Twin Lakes Lodge! Well behaved pets are welcome for an additional fee. No Smoking inside. Twin Lakes Lodge is availalbe from May 1 to November 30.

Hi Mark! Thanks for the lovely review, we really appreciate!!! The location of the cabin is described accurately in the listing. It's set back from the lake...not on the lake. The picture of the lake and beach is accurate as well and you have access to it as described. It's best to read the description thoroughly before booking a property. There are several homes and vacation cabins on the lake, all who share the lake. I was available for questions from the time you booked until after you left. We don't have AC in this cabin which is also described accurately as it's really not needed up here that often. We do supply fans in rooms if needed. The lake is great for fishing and swimming with the sandy bottom and you have access to a fishing boat and raft which is lots of fun in the summer. We wish you could've enjoyed your stay a little more than 3 stars.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lisa (the owner) a message.

If Lisa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
