Wake up to birdsong and butterflies, jump into the refreshing pool. Then what - coffee in the garden? (With fresh bread delivered to your doorstep, if you wish.) Then walk to the beach...

Quiet and comfortable, fully equipped for a short or long holiday, or distance-working, the apartment is located on the ground floor and opens into a well-hedged 60 sqm garden for your private use only. The nearest pool is 20 m from the garden entrance.

In addition, use of the free facilities at Albatros Laguna Vista Beach is included. These comprise the huge 300m beach, numerous pools incl 2 outdoor heated pools and 1 indoor heated jacuzzi pool, gym and tennis. Spa services incl turkish hammam, massage, beauty etc are available for usual charge. Free towel service and locker room.

The distance between the two properties is roughly 500m.

All essential goods, services and entertainment are similarly available within an easy 400 m walk by the main street - groceries, beverages, dining and partying options (Hard Rock Cafe Nabq, ArabBucks, German Bakery, McDonalds, a range of Egyptian and Italian restaurants, several pubs), a small but well supplied souq for the souvenirs and gift shopping (El Khan), ATMs and bank offices, taxis and a pocket-friendly minibus line.

The apartment has a comfortable layout, so you can enjoy your meals on the terrace or in the garden right outside the living room, and there is a full kitchen, equipped with a washer, a fridge-freezer, cooker, oven, toaster, kettle, espresso machine, and other essentials for cooking and/or serving a beautiful or even romantic meal.

Special note: Egypt is a delivery heaven and almost anything can be delivered to the door - groceries, beverages, medicines, full meals, and much more. We provide some names and numbers.

The bathroom consists of a toilet and a walk-in shower room, separated from the toilet by a glass door. Both have a window. An iron and ironing board, a hair dryer are provided. The apartment has air conditioning, but for maximum convenience there are also ceiling fans. You can make use of them for a faster or more efficient cooling, or if instead of the a/c-d environment you prefer to keep the windows open and enjoy the fresh air from the sea and the mountains.

The top-of-the-market pocket coil mattress in the bedroom, as also the rest of the bedding and linens, have been chosen and are cared for with your maximum sleeping comfort in mind, and most materials are natural like cotton, linen, wool or down.

Extra bedding for 2 more guests is provided in way of a sofa that opens into 2 futons 90x200cm, that can be used separately or side by side.

For the entertainment there is an ample TV with wireless connection, that has the usual selection of Arab and international sky channels, but you can also browse your favourite web sites, or compare the weather back at home, or stream content from your palm device, like for example view on the big screen the photos that you took during the day.

A 4G WiFi modem offers fast connection and plenty of volume. A local SIM can be provided for telephoned services (for example, to order food or beverages to be delivered to the door).

For guests with restricted mobility: The apartment has 3 steps down from the terrace to the garden, and a short flight of steps from the garden to the pool level and the communal lawn. The main entrance has a low 7 cm curb.

Before I proceed: IF you could keep writing for 59 more days, you might end up with a best-selling manuscript about holidaying in Sharm... Think about it! I forgot what else I needed to say... :D On a serious note: thank you, thank you, thank you! We are still overwhelmed by all of this, but really very very happy that we were such a good match to you eating your cake but also keeping it... :) :D and that you enjoyed your holiday, which as new parents you must have needed so much and earned so well! It may have been the difference between arriving from a tiring flight, and leaving after a relaxing holiday, but what we saw on the final day, was a tanned, visibly TONED family, bursting with sunshine (or was it your sunny souls?) ... Nothing much to add, because all is already in there. Of course - so, so sorry for the pair of iPhones now filled with some nice salty Red Sea water... We took care to update us about trustworthy service shops in town, that might be able to help in these situations, which hopefully never repeat, though. We must also admit that, in a hot climate, walking (in the sun) is sometimes physically less pleasant than it normally might be. While Nabq is still the coolest (by temperature, but if wish can also read - by style ;) ;) ) ... of all Sharm locations. There is often a nice breeze even in summer, and our pools stay cool and fresh long after elsewhere they have turned soupy. We did learn from you as new parents and will be even more careful about cleaning and desinfection in the future, while happy to learn that your stay was free of medical troubles. To bring a new baby into a completely different environment and do so well - very impressed! Last but not least, I would like to extend separate thanks to you for choosing Egypt and Sharm el Sheikh for your long vacation - displaying such confidence in us and no doubt leaving a huge boost to the local economy and its various businesses. We are really extremely thankful, and honoured and moved. Have a lovely time raising sweet "Miss Junior" ;) :) and welcome back any time, to us or to Sharm el Sheikh!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pia (the owner) a message.

If Pia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
