A traditional Greek house that is in our family for the last 180 years. It has been renovated just recently in order to fulfill the requirements of modern life. You will find appealing the view from the balcony and the terrace. You will treasure the quiet neighborhood. You will enjoy your sleep on our new COCO-MAT mattresses and pillows. And last but not least you will have the feeling of how life used to be in Old Nafplio.

The house blends the traditional Greek architecture with new quality materials such as Iroko wood (balcony, windows and shells) cypress wood (handmade beds, couches, sofas and chairs) Karystos stones for insulation to the mountain side.

We believe that it is something unique and appealing to stay in a neighborhood in the heart of Old Nafplio where any kind of vehicles do not have access.However, everything is in 5 minute walk down the stairs(Bus station,churches, syntagma square,cafes,restaurants,archaeological museum,harbor,small shops).

At the time of your arrival,the house will have mineral water in bottles,marmalade,dry bread,coffee,sugar and milk.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the safety of small kids or infants because of the stairs. The windows do not have any kind of height restrictions for the kids (this is because such additions to the houses are not permitted under the archaeological law of Old Nafplio).

First of all we are really happy that you had a wonderful stay in our house. We started renting our house since July 2017, through this website and other similar platforms. We are currently upgrading our second floor with a new double bed, in order for the single bedroom(passageway as you described) to be an optional choice for a group of people in the future. The seating and lounging upgrades for the terrace are scheduled to be made around May 2018, since now the weather will get colder for sitting out. Mr Dittert thank you for your kind and sincere review and we will be expecting you anytime in the future, with more amenities for you, your family and friends.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Zacharoula (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
