Cluain House is a spacious luxury modern eco home, set in tranquil woodland surroundings. 4 Miles from the village of Cawdor with its beautiful Castle and Gardens. 6 Miles from Nairn and it's wonderful beach. 8 Miles from Inverness Airport and 16 Miles from the Highland Capital Inverness.

Lovely open plan living with quality furniture and finishing's. The 3-bedroom property (2 with en suites) has all the modern facilities you need to ensure you have a wonderful stay in the highlands.

With various world-renowned golf courses on our doorstep make sure you bring your clubs. If you love history there are castles, battlefields and museums close by. For the beer and whisky drinkers out there why not visit some of the local breweries/distillery's. The shopping and restaurants of the highland capital Inverness are a short drive away.

Ground Floor

The entrance hall leads to a large dining area (Table to seat 8) which is on open plan with the huge double height living room. The wonderful wall of windows bathes the room in natural light. A multi fuel burner in the living room provides a great functional centrepiece, an addition to the under floor heating throughout the house. The living room has a large flat screen TV with cinema surround sound.

On semi open plan with the living/dining room the kitchen has all modern Neff integrated appliances (oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher) and all cutlery and utensils required to whip up a lovely meal. A door from the kitchen leads to the utility room with Washing machine and Condensing Tumble Dryer.

Bedroom 2 - This large double room boasts a king size bed with a good size en suite shower room.

Bedroom 3 - Similar in size to bedroom 2, this room has twin single beds and looks onto the rear garden

Main bathroom - Modern, quality sanitary ware with bath, shower, WC, wash hand basin

First Floor:

From the landing at the top of the stairs you can reach all the upper accommodation.

The upper Lounge - With a balcony over looking main living area. With modern comfortable furniture this is a great place to relax with a book or some music. There is a double sofa bed for additional sleeping space if required.

Master bedroom suite - This spacious suite has a king bed with comfortable mattress and a double sofa bed (great for those with young family), dressing area/large double wardrobe and large en suite with separate shower and bath facilities.

Outside:

Parking for numerous cars is available on the stone chipped drive way, cars can get access up to the ramp at the rear of the house for wheelchair access.

Front garden, laid to grass is ideal for a picnic.

The rear garden looks on to the tranquil forest behind, great for a bbq or to enjoy the quiet.

Garage - fitted with a pool table and table and seating.

Overall Capacity 6-10 people

3 bedrooms (Master bedroom has a sofa bed to sleep an additional 2 people) and a sofa bed in the Upper Lounge to sleep an additional 2 people.

Our property is self-check in, we supply bed linen and towels. We will supply some basics to get you by for your first day such as a couple of dishwasher tablets, some toilet paper, a few tea bags and a few coffee sachets. They should keep you going until you can get to a shop if you arrive without supplies. There is a local supermarket in Nairn and also a village shop in the local village.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Steve (the owner) a message.

If Steve (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
