A home surrounded by 1.5 acres of lush gardens, the home is designed in the timeless Cape Dutch Style.

The house is be suitable for Business Travelers , Celebrities , V.I.P's , Honeymooners ,Researchers,Holiday makers among others.

It's 30 Min from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and 15 min from Wilson Airport, making Karen Gables an easily accessible place to stay.

The house is fully furnished with facilities like WiFi, Back up Generator which guarantees 24/7 electricity supply , solar heated swimming pool, Fresh borehole water thus making it ideal for all types of travelers.

The Facility is Located close to Nairobi National Park-20min drive , Kazuri Beads -10min walk,Giraffe Center, David Sheldrick (Elephant Orphanage) Ololua Primate Research Forest which offers tracking trails to enjoy a walk along Mbagathi river, 2 Km away from the Flip flops factory recycles used items into interesting gifts for sale among other souvenir.

    Karen Gables is on exclusive basis .Service and food is exceptional, staff includes-House Manager chef waiter ,2 security guards, laundress ,room steward and Gardener. The Manager and staff are always around to receive and welcome our guest with a fresh home made welcome drink. Guest are welcomed to sign their registration cards and brief info about the house ,thereafter escorted to the room by the steward. The house is private hence no walk-ins to interfere with guest stay.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Karen (the owner) a message.

    If Karen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
