From the owner

Built around1600, this cottage is the quintessential cosy English country cottage. Set back from the road, it is approached through a long cottage garden. The sitting room is dominated by a giant fireplace with a log burner (we even supply logs!) with original ceilings and floor. The kitchen is modern and has every including microwave and dishwasher. The beamed bedroom looks out over the cottage garden and to the fields beyond. You can literally count sheep from your bedroom window! The super-king bed an be a double or twins., with a modern bathroom and shower next door. The top floor bedroom can also be arranged as a large double or twins. It has it's own staircase door for total privacy, and it's own ensuite shower room with WC.

The cottage has a large garden is through a gate accessed along a path at the back, With garden furniture and a barb-b-q. There are often horses in the field just beyond.

Want a day's golf in glorious Cotswold countryside? Nauntondowns golf course which offers day guest passes is 5 minutes away, as is Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park which is great for kids.

Why can't I call Mark (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mark (the owner) a message.

If Mark (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
