Villa Zefyros is a beautifully furnished three-bedroom villa which sleeps up to six persons (four adults and two children) and has a private infinity/vanishing edge swimming pool. The villa is within walking distance of the traditional 300 year-old Cypriot village of Neo Chorio on the north-western coast of Pafos District of Cyprus.

The villa is set in an exclusive development with a private gated road and it enjoys spectacular, panoramic views of both Chrysochou Bay and the natural and protected Akamas Peninsula. The Anassa Hotel, a world renowned exclusive 5-star luxury spa hotel can be seen in the distance.

The villa has a secluded garden with a “sundowner” table and chairs and there is ample outside furniture which includes a dining table and chairs, sun loungers, sun umbrellas, a gas BBQ and a pergola over the verandah. The interior ground floor consists of a large open plan living area with very comfortable furnishings, a TV, DVD home theatre system with an extensive DVD library, CD player, music library and dock for MP3 Player/iPod. The Internet TV system has a huge amount of television, You Tube, radio and video club stations/channels - there are over 8,000 films etc in the latter! A small collection of books are available. There is a dining area and fully fitted kitchen, which includes an oven, hob, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and dish washer. Also on the ground floor there is a bedroom with fixed bunk beds and a relaxing massage chair and there is also a toilet with wash basin and shower cubicle immediately next to the bedroom.

Upstairs the stunning master bedroom has a four poster double bed, en suite bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and wash basin; a safe is also available. The second double bedroom also has an en suite bathroom with a shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin.

There is a spiral staircase from the first floor balcony, to a roof terrace complete with a wooden bench table to enjoy a drink whilst taking in the magnificent views of the Akamas Peninsula, Chrysochou Bay and the coastline around to Pomos with the dramatic hills of Pafos Forest in the background.

Neo Chorio village has a few tavernas (the nearest is a five minutes walk from the villa) and a small supermarket. It is a 3 minute drive down to the beaches, shops and harbour of Latsi and a 10 minutes’ drive to the quaint town of Polis. The villa is on the eastern edge of the Akamas Peninsula with immediate access to a myriad of off-road tracks and walking trails to enjoy the wild nature of the protected area and its magnificent inland and coastal scenery. Villa Zefyros is 122 metres/400 feet above sea level thus commanding sweeping views down to the coast and Chrysochou Bay.

Zefyros is the GreekGod of the West Wind who blew Aphrodite, the goddess of love (also the Roman goddess Venus), to Cyprus where she emerged from the foaming sea at Aphrodite’s Rock in Pafos (Paphos) District, as depicted in the famous painting by Sandro Botticelli (circa 1486). Hence the name - Villa Zefyros - as the villa faces west - a perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing pre-dinner cocktail whilst watching the vivid sunsets over the Akamas Peninsula and Chrysochou Bay!

A substantial welcome pack is provided upon arrival and we (the villa owners) are normally available to meet, greet and check-in to the villa, all incoming guests. We hand over the keys to the villa, show guests around, explain the essentials of the villa and answer guests’ questions.

We are also normally available to check-out the guests upon their departure and to receive any comments.

Should we be unavailable for either of these events then we shall advise guests of alternative arrangements.

To enable us to perform these functions we shall require guests’ flight details and estimated time of arrival at the villa. The lead guest’s mobile telephone number will also be required.

We live very near Villa Zefyros and we are usually readily available to assist guests with local information and advice. We perform the weekly villa service and attend to the swimming pool and garden.

Because the villa enjoys a quieter location, hiring a vehicle is essential to visit the local villages (apart from Neo Chorio), towns and beaches, as well as for exploring the Akamas Peninsula and of course the many other lovely and interesting parts of this rural and historic island.

Airports: Pafos International Airport - 52 km - about a 1 hr drive. Larnaca International Airport - 170 km - about a 2 hr drive.

Coast/Beach: There are several excellent, clean and safe beaches within a very short drive of the villa. The nearest beaches at Latsi (Latchi) are 3 km about a 3 min drive and they stretch approximately 2 km east and 5 km west, of Latsi Harbour.
