From the owner

This one bedroom cottage is the smaller version of the two bedroom cottage located on the same property. It is ideal for one or two guests. Like the two bedroom cottage it is perched on a hillside allowing for some of the most spectacular panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean found on Nevis. From this vantage point guests will always be able to see the ocean from any room. From the covered wraparound porch guests will have unobstructed views of the eastern peninsula of our sister island St.Kitts and on clear days see Antigua in the northeast. Guests will also see local fishermen with their boats anchored in nearby Long Haul Bay and touring sailboats passing by on most days. A walk to the ocean front is about eight minutes (a little longer on the way back due to the hilly driveway to the cottage) where they can stroll along the shore searching for seashells, snorkel on nearby reefs or swim on a designated sandy beach. There is a constant ocean breeze that guests will find cooling as they relax on the porch and they can hear the sound of waves crashing on nearby reefs especially at nights.

The cottage has been operational for about four years and is designed similar to the typical Caribbean styled houses with high open vaulted ceilings with exposed rafters, that gives the feeling of a space larger than the 500 plus square feet of living space for this cottage. All rooms have ceiling fans and the bedroom also has a wall AC for the sleeping comfort of our guests. A fully equipped kitchen is available to guests who wish to make some of their meals, plus there there is free Wifi, free landline phone for making local calls, lounge chairs on the porch, outside table and chairs , dining table and chairs, beach chairs and beach towels, and a portable cooler for those who wish to take a picnic lunch to the beach. A washing machine and propane gas grill are also available for those who have a need for these conveniences.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Austin (the owner) a message.

If Austin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
