A cottage home located in the center of Metairie; a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana. Located off I-10, allows easy access to and from all events held in the city of New Orleans.

Has 1200 square feet of a open floor plan, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 7 people comfortably in beds, fully equipped kitchen, giving you the space you need without being crammed up!!!

Located in a quite and safe neighborhood which is situated on a dead end street; with front porch, backyard, and patio area to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or evenings after sightseeing. There are receptacles outside on the porch and patio area to dispose cigarettes in a proper manner, for those who smoke. Has free off street parking located at the rear entrance with additional parking along the side street.

It's walking distance to Mardi Gras festivities, restaurants, bars, healthcare, childcare, public transit bus stop (RTA-Regional Transit Authority), and more.

It's truly the best place to stay for all this city has to offer!!!

Fabulous Location! Away from all the commotion of the city, but close enough to be anywhere within a short drive, 8-10 minutes or less; you will be at City Park, Museum of Arts, Lafreniere Park, Audubon Zoo/Park, Aquarium of America, Mercedes-Benz Superdome and the Convention Center, and all Festivals (Jazz, French Quarter, Voodoo, Tomato, Oyster, Po-Boy and many more).

Located near groceries (Whole Foods and others), movie theater, between two major shopping malls (Clearview and Lakeside).

Other attractions include; Lake Pontchartrain - great place to stroll along the lake or just sit and relax to watch the most beautiful sunsets, City Park - tennis/golf, Audubon Zoo and Park, Lafreniere Park.

If traveling with pets there will be a non refundable pet fee.

I will be there to greet, welcome and get you situated in my home. Once there, I will show you the easiest way to get around the area and the quickest way to get you on and off I-10 for easy access throughtout the city and back to my home. Should you get lost, need help or if a problems occurs I can and will be available during your stay. If you prefer not to drive and be bother with the hassle of parking in the city, I have a very good friend I grew up with who is a taxi driver whom you can make arrangements with. His name and number is located in my home for yours use; you just need call in advance to make the arrangements.

No smoking at this property

House rules

No smoking inside of the house!! There are receptacles on front porch and backyard patio areas for smoking outside and to dispose of your cigarettes in a proper manner.
Upon leaving, please place all dirty towels and liens into the walk-in shower located in the bath/laundry room. Second, place any dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn on before leaving. Also, put all trash in a garbage bag, tied up and places outside into the trash receptacle.

the place was perfect we were in town for the weekend and a concert very nice and quit neiborhood Tammy the host was wonderful to work with short uber ride to the city and all the attractions

Very cozy cottage with everything you need

Great location minutes away from all the hot spots. Parks, museum, zoo, bourbon street, airport, shopping. Cottage is very roomy.

Why can't I call Tammy (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Tammy (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tammy (the owner) a message.

If Tammy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
