Description

This is a three bedroom barn offering an en-suite master bedroom with king size-bed, a tin/super-king bedroom and a triple sleeper bedroom.
This barn has an upside down arrangement so the living area is upstairs making the most of the views and giving it plenty of natural light. Outside you have your own private barbeque area with large wooden picnic table and leading off this is a storage room for surfboards, bikes, fishing gear etc.
You enter the kitchen/diner into a beautiful room with spacious living area, exposed open beams and a stunning log burner. The solid oak furniture and a large corner sofa makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. The new modern well fitted kitchen with granite worktops has all the necessities including a washing machine and dishwasher. The lounge area also has a large flat screen TV.
Downstairs there are three bedrooms and a modern family bathroom with full sized bath and electric power shower above, the washbasin is in a fitted unit with good storage, mirror and lighting and there is also a toilet.
Master bedroom – solid oak furniture, a king size bed with bedside cabinets, a double wardrobe, a tall slim chest of drawers and a wall mounted TV. The en-suite has a large electric power shower, washbasin and toilet. There is a door which leads out onto it's own terrace so on a summer's day you can step out to the table and chairs to enjoy some breakfast or maybe a glass of wine.
Bedroom 2 - this has the diversity of either being a twin with three foot single beds or put together as a super king-size bed, it also has a solid oak wardrobe and bedside cabinet. There is a door from this bedroom which leads outside to the barn's own private barbeque area.
Bedroom 3 - this has a metal triple sleeper bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a three foot single on the top. It also has a solid oak double wardrobe and bedside cabinet.

Really friendly owners, the house was stunning and perfect, better then the pictures let on. Would definitely recommend, and amazing time there, close enough to the beach but far enough it does get quiet

“Amazing place to holiday.”

We recently had a 2 week holiday at Penvose Farm in the largest of the 2 barns on offer there. From the beginning the owners Ann and husband Johnny were great the barn had fresh flowers waiting for us and was sparkling from top to bottom nothing was too much trouble for either of them, from menus of places that did take out to popping in on our 2nd week to change beds towels and give the place another spruce up for us while we were out enjoying the sights. The barn was well equipped with everything you need and even some extra little touches that make a great holiday. We went especially for our husbands to fish in any of the 5 fantastic lakes and us ladies to relax, the farm is a working farm but not intrusive, was great to watch them carry out daily tasks and always a pleasant word or two too be had from all the family as they pass by throughout the day. The site is well maintained throughout with a great children’s play area set in a nice field. An amazing place, peaceful and quiet, close to Newquay airport but not intrusive at all I was amazed watching the plaine take off and land with very little noise or disruption. The site is also close to other great places to visit along the coast, Padstow, Perrinporth st Ives etc. I would not hesitate to recommend this to couples or families alike. Keep up the good work and all the best to Ann, Johnny, brother Paul and all the family and not forgetting Tom the lovely affectionate cat who we spent many a time with. Thanks very much once again for making our holiday a great one.

“Spacious accommodation”

Just returned after celebrating with friends. A fantastic, comfortable and clean accommodation to share with family and friends. Ann was very friendly and made our stay very relaxing. Very spacious for 7 people to relax or party. We'll definitely be back for future visits. It's situated on the farm but within easy access to Newquay by car if you need to get supplies.

“First class barn conversion for a family holiday.”

Very convenient for some of the best beaches (for all ages) in the area. Perfect for surfers and body-boarders. The barn is fully equipped and beautifully furnished with a large gas barbecue. Own terrace. Large safe area for children to use safely with some play equipment. The friendliest and most helpful owners who were able to deal promptly with any request made of them. We are looking forward to returning very soon!

“Great Getaway!”

We had a really great time at Penvose farm. As 7 girls it was just what we wanted. An open space to cook and chill out all together and comfy bedrooms. The quiet location was perfect and everywhere we wanted to go was no further than a 20 minute drive. The owners were also very friendly but left us to our own devices which was nice. I would defo go down again to stay!!

“Fantastic action packed weekend in Newquay”

We stayed at Mowhay barn for a weekend as a group of friends. The pictures are great but in truth do not do the barn justice. It is situated perfectly for anyone visiting Newquay and it's surrounding areas, it's is roughly a mile away from the fantastic setting of Watergate Bay set back in the beautiful Cornwall countryside. I would 100% visit again and recommend to anyone looking to visit Cornwall and take in its breathtaking beauty as a family or group of friends. Ann was a fanatic prior to the visit communicating and supporting all questions and was a great host.

“Great place and hospitality”

A lovely spacious house all finished to perfection. Stayed as a group of friends. We especially loved the log burner. We had a very comfortable stay with everything we needed. Ann was a great host and even let us leave when we wanted on Sunday as noone else was coming in that day...this was very kind as it let us all make the most of the weekend. Highly recommend a stay here.

Anne was brilliant - welcoming, helpful and friendly. The barn was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we needed. We stayed at the barn for a family holiday with children - there is plenty for everyone to do. Lots of surrounding beaches to explore, great running spot along Bedruthen Steps, lovely old pubs, the tranquil Japanese Gardens and King Arthur's Castle, Eden Project and farms for the kids to visit. All within a short travel distance. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.
