Hillcott is a beautiful 2 bedroom cottage located close to the water in Newton Ferrers. It has been newly refurbished to the highest standard and is the ultimate in holiday home luxury.

This pretty stone faced cottage is set off the road in the waterside vil- lage of Newton Ferrers in the South Hams, South Devon.

Enter through the half glazed stable door and you are immediately struck by the beautiful staircase leading to the first floor. First you must de- cide whether to turn right into the living room complete with sofa and 2 easy chairs. A smart television is mounted on the wall and a living flame gas fire completes the peaceful ambience.

Turn left and you are in the kitchen/dining room. So much thoughtful at- tention has been given to the details in this room and indeed throughout the house.

The kitchen is fully fitted with a leather effect granite work surface, built in dishwasher, fridge, oven and hob. Small furnishings and artefacts complete the overall feel of the room such as the wooden whale set in a recess in the dining room and the lovely french dresser resplendent with tasteful ornaments.

Both rooms have window seats overlooking the front garden and in the evening the bespoke wooden shutters can be closed to create a cosy and intimate feel.

Up stairs and on the landing hangs a n ornate mirror and hanging from the ceiling is the most beautiful unique glass chandelier which just makes you want to stop and admire! Turn right and you enter the master bed- room beautifully furnished with king size bed, side tables and another amazing lamp shade!

The en suite shower room has a low flush wc, walk in shower, round stone sink and electric towel rail.

Bedroom 2, another double is resplendent in it’s furnishings with the king size bed positioned to gaze through the window whilst lying in the plush bed. A small television, built in cupboard and built in shelf unit complete the room.

A family bathroom with bath and shower over is also on this floor. Outside is a large paved garden with flower borders and table and chairs. Across the small driveway is an outside toilet room complete with sink and washer/dryer. The perfect space to wash off dogs or remove sandy beachwear.

There is off road parking for 2 cars.

Hillcott has been thoughtfully designed to highest standard with such attention to detail making this a luxury home from home. Once visited you will certainly want to come again and again.

    How do damage deposits work?

    If Patsy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
