From the owner

Situated on the 2nd floor (with lift) of a stylish art deco building on Boulevard Gambetta, the apartment is very peaceful and devoid of any traffic noise as it is located at the rear of the building overlooking the internal gardens.

The main living/dining area is open plan with the kitchen and has French doors on to a small balcony overlooking the gardens. The bedroom is separate and has French doors leading to another small balcony. It has a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging and drawer space with mirrored doors. There is a dressing table with mirror and a chair. Also bedside cupboards with reading lights each side and a clock with radio.

We have a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine for your use. A few pods will be available, but you can buy more from the Nespresso boutique in Place Massena (where you can get a free cup of coffee if you want to try a particular flavour).

The modern bathroom has a large walk in shower cubicle with large overhead shower and a separate shower attached. There is a vanity unit with mirror above plus a magnifying shaving mirror and plenty of storage space and a toilet. There is also a front load washing machine and a hairdryer provided for your use.

The apartment has full ducted air-conditioning and heating throughout, making it pleasant all year round.

The apartment is filled with state of the art equipment including a 40' flat screen cable TV, free and unlimited Wi-Fi internet access. Electric operated shutter in living room.

The pedestrian street on Rue de France is 5 minutes away and it's approximately 10 minutes walk to the main high street of Nice, Jean Medecin.

There are 3 large supermarkets and a selection of wonderful bakeries, ice cream shops and restaurants right on your doorstep. The wonderful Old Town with it's charming streets, typical French style markets, vibrant restaurants and cafes are approximately 15 minutes walk away.

We are now 50 meters from the new line 2 tram. This goes straight from the airport to our apartment (stop Alsace Lorraine). Exit Bd Victor Hugo. Our end of Gambetta is now restricted to traffic and therefore is very quiet. Wide pavements and lovely cafés.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bobbie (the owner) a message.

If Bobbie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
