Roe Deer Cottage is located in the Highland village of North Ballachulish, near Glencoe. This luxury self catering accommodation enjoys magnificent views over wild mountain and moorland and can accommodate up to four people in one double and one twin room, both with en-suite bathrooms.

The cottage is fully equipped with everything you should need for a comfortable stay. All 200 count cotton linen, towels, heating etc included along with local Highland Soap products for you to use during your stay.

Locked drying room for guests to use during their stay, for storage of bikes etc or to use to dry clothes, boots etc

At the entrance to Glencoe, on Loch Leven, Ballachulish is an ideal location whether you come for the walking, climbing, winter skiing, fishing, wildlife, canoeing, or just to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. You'll also find that Roe Deer cottage is well situated for touring further afield in the Highlands, with Ben Nevis, Fort William, Isle of Skye, Isle of Mull, Road to the Isles and Loch Ness being just a few of the popular destinations within reach

Outstanding location; even better cottage

Without a doubt, the coziest, most lovely stay in Scotland! The host is incredibly gracious and the cottage is the best kept one I've ever stayed at. I cannot recommend Roe Deer Cottage enough!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Elaine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
