“Every thing we hoped for”

Reviewed 7 Sep 2017

Gite is situated in a lovely quiet peaceful area, yet central to a lot of places to visit. It is equipped with everything one could ask for and to suit all ages. It is owned and run by a lovely couple Teresa and Roy who are very friendly and could not be any more helpful.

Thank you for your fantastic review it was a pleasure to have you stay with us, I think your review says it all and we would welcome you back and hope to see you again

“Blissful”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2017

Another fantastic stay at the gorgeous Les Rosiers. The warm welcome from Roy and Teresa has not waned and the generous welcome pack was most appreciated. We took our Son, his wife and our Grandchildren. All enjoyed their holiday, especially the Grandchildren and their daily battles with the swimming pool wildlife!! We highly recommend this slice of heaven and personally would love to return next year, on our own (!!) for a perfect relaxing break in the most peaceful environment. Once again, thank you Roy and Teresa, and we hope your Grandchildren enjoyed their baked beans! Chris and June

Thank you for your lovely comments and your fantastic review, you are always most welcome to return and have been fantastic guests Best Wishes to you all Teresa and Roy

“Heavenly!!”

Reviewed 23 May 2017

What a brilliant find!! Les Rosiers lives up to its reviews and far exceeds them in most places. From the warmest of welcomes by Teresa, Roy and the extremely charismatic Toby, to the most generous welcome pack and tidiest, warmest and best equipped Gite that we have visited in many years. The location is perfect for the get away from it all experience yet close to a myriad of attractions, from famous Chateaus, beautiful lakes, Zoos, etc. The Gite is extremely well equipped and the layout is perfect for either a couple visiting on their own (as we did) or a large family to enjoy a great holiday together (as we will be in August!!). The bed is very comfortable, the downstairs on-suite with shower is perfect and if you want a bath then just pop upstairs. The garden is stunning and clearly maintained to a very high standard. It is big enough for everyone, of all ages, to enjoy their perfect area, from shaded swing seat in the "orchard" to the large and inviting swimming pool, loads of sun worshipping seating and a shaded gazebo for those who prefer it, to a play area (Badmington net up and ready!!) to the large BBQ and out door eating area. Added to this is the covered eating and seating area just outside the back door, perfect for those warm evenings to be enjoyed with a glass of wine and a game of scrabble. And yes, Teresa and Roy provide a range of games for all ages, books and DVDs, music, etc. WiFi is brilliant also for those who don't want to switch off completely!! Our week was superb despite the weather. Although we had a lot of rain, thunder storms and it was a bit chilly, Teresa and Roys efforts at ensuring the guests have the most wonderful break possible ensured that the weather didn't dampen our spirits and we left totally relaxed with heavy hearts but at the same time, most happy that we had already booked our family holiday (with very energetic young Grand children!!) for the coming August. We will not be disappointed!! A huge thank you to Teresa and Roy, two wonderful, kind, generous and attentive yet discreet hosts, and to Toby and his energetic tail and tongue. We are very much looking forward to our return in August (and sooner if possible!!). PS: Try the Goats cheese from the boot of a car on Tuesday evenings, if for no other reason than to meet a true french character (the cheese is quite good also!).

Thank you so much for your fantastic review, we have tried to cater for couples and large families who wish to enjoy a relaxing holiday in a traditional French cottage with their own privacy away from hustle of city life. For those who wish to explore, we are not far from numerous activities and attractions. We enjoy meeting our guests from all around the world and it gives us great pleasure that they leave us having enjoyed their stay and the attractions of the Loire Valley region. Both Roy and myself look forward to seeing you again soon Best Wishes Teresa

“Warm welcome and delightful property in beautiful area.”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2014

Ther operate was very easy to find, excellent directions. Teresa and Roy (together with Toby the dog) gave us a very warm welcome. We were delighted with the hamper of goodies, including the fresh eggs from their chickens. The cottage was charmingly rustic and very peaceful and quiet. The private garden with pool was perfect for families. This rental was a great value for money hire and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, and also the Loire region. Being only twenty minutes from the Loire River there is plenty to do and see, castles, vineyards. We also have some good horse riding stables nearby and are only forty five minutes from the race track at Le Man which some of our guests have enjoyed.

“Great relaxing stay, lovely for kids”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2014

We stayed for 10 days in July and had a great time. Lots to see and do in the area and the gite could not have more to entertain and keep you comfortable. Teresa and Roy were great and couldn't do enough for us. This part of France is beautiful and so much to do we could have stayed another 2 weeks.... Our daughter loved the big garden and fell in love with the chickens and Toby the dog. If we get chance we will certainly be back and would not hesitate in recommending it to friends and family. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us, Thank you for your fantastic review. We would love to see you all again sometime in the future. Best wishes Teresa and Roy

“Excellent Accomodation and Very Helpful and Friendly Owners”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2014

Wonderful location, wonderful gite and wonderful owners! We were greeted with a warm welcome and the owners had prepared a welcome pack for us (Two bottles of wine, large loaf of bread, cheese, pate, milk, butter and home reared eggs from across the yard). The gite and garden was clean and well equiped and beautifully furnished. Comfortable solid beds and cosy woodburners. We both liked the spa shower cubicle! There's lots to see and do in the local area. Our favorite was Saumur, very pretty town with the large river flowing through. If you like wine, there are many Vin Caves offering free tastings and tours close by. We would recommend this gite to our friends and family.

Thank you for your lovely review. We are pleased you enjoyed staying with us and enjoyed the area. We hope to see you in the future and you will be most welcome. Best wishes Roy and Teresa
