Welcome to Casa el Otero de Ovio, in Nueva de Llanes. You can visit us at casasvallesanjorge. The house is oriented to the south, and the views are spectacular: on the one hand the Picos de Europa, where the Naranjo de Bulnes is divided, and on the other hand to the Cantabrian Sea, with its impressive cliffs. Take great walks through the paths and wild meadows to reach the beach of fine sand and crystal clear waters. At Casa el Otero we value our natural environment, we invite you to know our cows and taste fresh milk for a good breakfast and for the delight of the smallest of the house. We are a perfect base for your vacation, enjoy the laya and mountains. You will find a living room with TV, fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, microwave, old wood stove that we have preserved, blender, coffee maker, toaster), barbecue. Four rooms (one of them with a cozy terrace with sun loungers) and 2 full bathrooms (there is a hair dryer). Note: the water pressure can drop at specific times of the day, it is a rural area and is located in the highest part of town. The house has a beautiful garden with wonderful and incomparable views of the sea and the cliffs that characterize the Cantabrian coast. The nearest urban center is Nueva, where the bus and train stop is, on foot it will take 15 min. You will also find a supermarket, shops, restaurants, butchers and the weekly market that is held every Saturday in the center of town. They can buy fish. For the adventurers, you can do many activities of mountaineering, surfing, canoeing, ... If you wish we can advise you what to visit, where to eat, what activities to practice. Why can't I call Mayte (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mayte (the owner) a message.

If Mayte (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
