These were outlier guests who didn't follow our house rules nor did they report any of the issues mentioned. They did complain after check-out when it was mentioned a lamp was found broken, our TV remotes were missing and a TV cord was missing. The VRBO website didn't allow them to post a review because of their threatening tactics once these items were brought to their attention. It is shocking to find this review was allowed to be posted on this site since they didn't use this site to book our property. Please look at the reviews posted on VRBO and you will see renters are completely satisfied with the house and its amenities. We have many repeat renters year after year. Thank You and happy travels to all!

We enjoy our stay at Po Boy. There is a short part to the beach which you can see from the screen porch . The swing is great. I hope to visit again soon. I would recommend it to anyone.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Renee (the owner) a message.

If Renee (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
