The Green is a self-catering Rutland holiday cottage with a pretty private rear garden in the rural conservation village of Market Overton just a stone’s throw away from Rutland Water. Rutland is excellent for walking and cycling and The Green holiday cottage provides a perfect base for exploring the local footpaths and cycle tracks around Rutland Water and visiting the many events that are held in and around Rutland such as the Burghley Horse Trials, Rutland County Show and Birdfair.The Public schools of Oakham, Stamford and Uppingham are nearby.

The cottage is recently refurbished in a contemporary country style. Upstairs the main bedroom has a king sized bed, the second bedroom twin beds and the third a double bed, plus a bathroom with a bath/shower. Downstairs there is a sitting room and a snug with books, games, Flat Screen TV, DVD, ipod docking station and free Wifi. The Green has a wonderful light dining area in the Conservatory and a well appointed kitchen. The village shop and pub ‘The Black Bull’ are a few minutes walk away. There is a pretty, private back garden with a safe secure stone outhouse perfect for cycles, fishing rods and outdoor accessories.

The Green, Rutland holiday cottage, has off road parking outside the front of the cottage and provides a perfect base for exploring the local footpaths and cycle tracks around Rutland Water. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions or queries about The Green.
