Be pampered at our bed and breakfast located in prestigious South-East Oakville, Ontario. Breakfast in our casually elegant dining space and finish the day, serenaded by birdsong and trickling waterfountain on our private garden deck.

With easy and convenient access to the Go Train, the heart of downtown Toronto with its vibrant night life, CN Tower, Harbourfront, numerous museums and exciting arts and entertainment district is only 35 minutes away by transit. Toronto’s melting pot of cultural districts are also easily accessible by public transit.

Oakville offers the best of both worlds with city lights and country charm only minutes away. Historical downtown Oakville with it's abundance of restaurants, shops and waterfront is only a five minute car ride away. Award winning vineyards including the world famous ice wine of the historic Niagara Escarpment is less than an hour from our doorstep.

Ideally your room is suited for two persons in the queen size bed but with the option of adding one or two cots for a maximum of four persons.. The bright room features a lounging couch, hardwood floors, large tv with Netflix & Prime, electric fireplace and bistro table. A private bathroom with shower/tub and double sink is next to your room.

WIFI is available throughout our non-smoking home.

Our property borders onto wooded parkland and is only steps away from forested nature trails and Lake Ontario. Guests can relax in our private garden.

Experienced world traveller, hostess Kimberly Scutt, writes and produces a blog called traveladdictonabudget and children’s travel site, travellingrubberchicken.

As an experienced cook, Kimberly offers varied menu choices including vegan. Sensitive to allergies (especially peanuts, tree nuts and gluten), with advance notice, Kimberly will customize your breakfast.

For a reasonable cost, you can take advantage of the following services when booked in advance:

-the basic breakfast is included or for a little extra book the Upgraded Breakfast ($5 pp per day or $2.50 per child under 12). Upgrades can include bacon or sausages, home made crepes, gourmet scrambled eggs, healthy smoothies, smoked salmon, eggs benedict, maple syrup ++++)

Why can't I call Kimberly (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kimberly (the owner) a message.

If Kimberly (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
