These apartments are great with swimming pool right in front of the terrace which was never too crowded. The apartments were spacious and clean and ideally located. Would certainly recommended Pomba Branca.

Big and clean apartment. Kitchen fully equipped with all what you need. Room clean. Only bed mattress wasn't too comfortable but that could be improve other wise can't fault anything and will recommend to anybody and also stay there in future. Shops are very close and the beach is only about 8 minutes walk about same distance to intermarche but there is one market closer if you don't want go further. Thanks Gabriel for renting us you apartment we have it lovely holidays.
“Fab apartment in a really good location”
We returned from a stay at this apartment last week. The pictures on the website don't do it justice, the apartment is so big, it's really a two story townhouse. Ground floor has hallway with large storage unit, downstairs toilet, separate fully fitted kitchen with full fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven and hob, kettle, toaster and all the cooking equipment you could want to cook any meal. There were also juicers/sandwich maker/ coffee machine in a cupboard we did not use. there is a small balcony off the kitchen with a barbecue. Really large living/dining room with table and 6 chairs, 2 large comfortable sofas, sideboard (with books and jigsaw puzzles) modern TV with HDMI input, DVD player (and some dvd films) and satellite receiver with some English language stations. We brought films on a media player that can be connected through the HDMI. We were also able to watch many of the world cup matches on Portuguese tv. Off the living room is a large terrace with a table and 4 chairs and 4 sun loungers, this opens out to the pool. The pool was a good size and we often had it to ourselves, this is a small complex only a few apartments are rented out so during the week it is very quiet it gets busier at the weekend when local owners arrive, but still never very busy. Upstairs are two double bedrooms with full bathrooms en-suite. The smaller bedroom has a double bed and small balcony which gets the evening sun, it is lovely and quiet here overlooking gardens, a nice place to relax in the evening sun before going out for the night. The other bedroom is bigger and has two single beds and a foldout chair bed, this has a large balcony overlooking the pool. All windows and doors have shutters which makes it feel very secure and keeps the rooms dark and cool in the mornings. There is air-con in both bedrooms and living room. The water is heated by gas and the pressure is really good in the showers and as the hot water is heated on demand it never runs out. The whole apartment is tiled in marble and is very modern. Olhos de Agua is a really nice village. Near to the apartment are all the restaurants, shops and supermarkets you will need all within 5 mins. There is also a bank with ATM and pharmacy just across the road. The lovely beach is a 5/10 min walk downhill, lots of restaurants along this road also. We have been to Albufeira 3 times before but I really prefer Olhos, we ate out most nights and never had a bad meal, my favorites were San Martino for Pizza, O'Licorne for Indian and Cabrita for Portuguese, Cabrita have a special every day and some nights there were people waiting to get in, so must be good. This apartment is also owned by one of the Cabrita family. Taxi's are really easy to get and not too expensive, around €6/€10 to Albufeira depending on where and when you are going. We walked it takes about an 50 mins to the strip and a further 20/30 mins to the old town, its a nice walk fairly flat all the way with footpaths. If you are really fit you can walk to Vilamoura along the beach it takes less than 2 hours but can be hard-going on soft sand in the full sun, taxi costs around €17. I would definitely return to this apartment, I loved the apartment and the location. The only small negative I have is the beds are not comfortable. They are a bit short and noisy (even the kids ones). Its only a small negitive in an otherwise perfect holiday. The owner arranged the transfer for us, this went perfectly, they were waiting for us at the airport and were 10 mins early collecting us on our way home. The owner is a really helpful guy, we had his mobile number and we could also call into him at his resturant with any queries, the only thing we wanted was a second set of keys, he got these for us the next day and some light bulbs went and he replaced them straight away. Cleaners came twice a week and changed beds and towels.
“Our little piece of heaven”
The Cabrita family are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. If you have a problem they are always there to help and assist you. I was unfortunate enough to be mugged, Gabriel took us to the Police Station and stayed with us until 12.30am, then took us back to Pomba Branca, what a star.I must say that we have been going to Portugal for 25 years and this is the first time such an incident has happened, It certainly will not put us off we have already booked for next year. Pomba Branca is home from home, every comfort is provided, hygiene is faultless, conveniently nearby are Supermarkets, Chemists, Restaurants, Banks, One stop booking tour office, Taxi rank, Bus stops, Doctor, Dentist, Hairdresser and Margareths Massage Saloon(Highly recommended for that extra bit of pampering). Pomba Branca has it all and the beach is just a short walk away and if you are lucky lots of lovely sunshine.
