From the owner

Built in 1987, our Oneonta Baseball Rental is a three bedroom two full bath house located just ten minutes from Cooperstown All Star Village and Baseball World and thirty minutes from Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Two picture windows overlook the stream in the back and the rest of the house is surrounded by a large yard and eight acres of woods with hiking trails to explore. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in each of the other bedrooms, as well as a pull-out sleeper in the living room. Two full baths. There is a full kitchen including refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster oven, coffeemaker, dishwasher, washer and dryer and a gas grill on the porch. There is a Home Theater System with CD, DVR, and DIRECTV with an extra TV for Playstation or Nintendo. All linens and towels are provided. Air Conditioning. Smoke free. Two minutes to Ouleout Golf Course.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. I know that visitors may be unaccustomed to the sulphur water which is very common in the area and tends to be more noticeable during dry periods like we had last winter. The water has been tested and can be safely used for cooking, bathing and can even be used as drinking water, although many may not care for the taste. In the future bottled spring water will be provided to all guests.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send THOMAS (the owner) a message.

If THOMAS (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
