Poco depues de haber empezado a preparar la casa para la obra , Paco el albañil, nos llamo, para decirnos, que no pudiera seguir con este trabajo, por temer que toda la casa podria caerse.

El fue en busca de un amigo (arquitecto/tecnico) para obtener su opinion profesional. El vino y depues de una inspeccion completa nos aconsejo de tirar la casa. Yo le dije que nunca y le pedi su consejo "B", el miro la casa de nuevo y luego nos dijo de nuevo de tirarla!

Mas adelante un dia fuimos a la obra y nos encontramos de nuevo con este architecto, estaba hablando con otros albañiles y Naomi oi por casualidad como les conto que nunca habia visto una casa en pero estado....

Paco no querria dejar las puertas y ventanas dando al norte abiertas, por miedo de que una ráfaga fuerte podria hacer caer la casa. Al principio me rei, pensando que estaba bromeando, pero luego me di cuenta que lo dijo muy en serio!

Por supuesto la obra se tardo mucho, mas que pensamos. Tuvimos ya peticiones para alquiler la casa para los meses de Julio y Agosto de 2016 y las tuvimos que rechazar. Y tuvimos una reserva para Octubre del mismo año, que al fin, tambien tuvimos que cancelar.

Garzopo es un verdadero tesoro! Invertimos muchissimo amor y energia positiva y creemos que eso se puede ver y sentir ahora que se ha terminado todo.

Todo fluye, el mismo estilo y tema se ejecutan a través de toda la casa y el jardín en armonía, todos los materiales de construcción y decoración coinciden y se realzan mutuamente. Usted será capaz de permanecer incluso durante un período más largo y se encontrarán percibiendo más y más detalles siempre tan a menudo.

La casa está situada en una zona muy tranquila de Orgiva, pero justo en el centro, al lado de la iglesia. Debe haber sido una de las primeras casas en la ciudad, estando tan cerca de la iglesia. El bar mas proximo está a 1 minuto a pie, donde podrá disfrutar de su café con leche y tostada de tomate (desayuno) y allí ya está en el centro, con todas sus tiendas, bancos y restaurantes. Y todas las otras instalaciones que podría estar buscando.

Al entrar en Garzopo desde el garaje, puede subir a la casa o salir al jardín.

Entrar en el jardín primero entra en lo que llamamos "el jardín de invierno", un rincon de bancos con su mesa, estilo Moro, hecho de obra y techada para proporcionar sombra en verano y protección en los muy, muy pocos días de lluvia en invierno. Al lado hay un cuarto de baño, con ducha y lavadora.

Desde aquí una escalera de caracol conduce a la primera planta.

Entrando en el jardín se encuentra la piscina a su izquierda. Hay una ducha al aire libre y luego unos escalones hasta la piscina. La piscina se calienta con una bomba de calor (cargo adicional de acuerdo a uso) y tiene integrado un banco construido en donde se puede disfrutar de las burbujas de aire (jacuzzi). Todo está embaldosado con azulejos de cristal muy exclusivos de Italia.

Nos quedamos con todos los 5 árboles que estaban allí, cuando compramos el jardín (2 limoneros, un naranjo, un mandarín y un aguacate muy viejo), ofreciendo un montón de sombra y tranquilas esquinas. Hay una pérgola para sentarse bajo, una encantadora y muy aislada esquina sentado bajo un limonero y otra esquina con mesa grande bajo el árbol de aguacate. Por supuesto, también encontrará una barbacoa.

Arriba tenemos el gran salón de planta abierta con comedor y cocina, muy espacioso, abierto y luminoso, con muchas ventanas. Incluso en verano, siempre se ejecutará una ligera brisa refrescante a través de la casa, por lo que es muy agradable y cómodo. Como en la mayor parte de la casa usamos caña de río para el techo, sostenido por los vigas originales y atado junto con "zoga" una cuerda hecha a mano y hecha de una hierba afilada local (esparto)y en viejos tiempos un material de construcción común.

Las paredes pintadamos en diferentes tonos de colores pastel, haciendo el ambiente agradable y relajante, lleno de armonía.

La cocina está totalmente equipada, con una lavavajilla, un horno y microondas y por supuesto todos los otros utensilios, etc., que uno utiliza en estos días, como hervidor, tostador

Pasando por la zona de comedor que te lleva a una terraza, dando al jardín y con vistas a la iglesia y a la sierra de Sierra Lujar. Hay otra mesa de comedor y sillas fuera, dándole siempre la opción de comer adentro o fuera.

El salón tiene un sofá cama grande y cómodo al lado de una chimenea (con una fachada de cristal), también hay otro sofa de obra. Una estantería empodrada, TV vía satélite y por supuesto Wifi.

Toda la casa tiene calefacción por suelo radiante (calentada con biomasa como huesos de oliva y cascaras de almendra) para los meses más fríos del año.

El agua caliente proviene de un sistema solar.

Toda la casa está muy bien aislada y las ventanas tienen doble acristalamiento, lo que significa que será fresco durante el verano y cálido en invierno.

Todas las ventanas y puertas y muebles estan hechos por un carpintero y ebanista

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Stefan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
