Welcome to Paradise. This colorful cottage is on a quiet, private cul-de-sac on the East Side of A1A, so there are no streets to cross to get to the beach. The private dock is steps from your front porch.

Mako Beach Cottage has all the comforts of home, just steps from the private dock access to the beach. The cute, brightly-colored cottage is completely furnished with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It also has a full kitchen with dining area and everything you need except the food.

Ormond-by-the-Sea is located just north of World Famous Daytona Beach, northeast of Orlando and south of historic St. Augustine.

While Daytona is the home of the famous Daytona International Speedway and the drive-on beaches, there are so many other fun things to do in our area. There are water parks, an adventure zip-line course, golf courses, museums, movie theaters, and unlimited opportunities for fun in this tourist generated hot spot.

Head West on I-4 to go to the Orlando theme parks for a day if you wish to enjoy the excitement of Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and others. But come home to the cottage in the evening and wake up with the quiet solitude of the beach outside.

For a quieter time, head north to the quaint town of Flagler Beach and then go on to Marineland. Marineland of Florida, one of Florida's first marine mammal parks, is billed as "the world's first oceanarium". Marineland functions as an entertainment and swim-with-the-dolphins facility.

Restaurants, shopping and groceries are all located within walking distance from the cottage but seem miles away from the quiet cul-de-sac on the ocean.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sandi (the owner) a message.

If Sandi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
