Delightful two-storey farmhouse in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by about 9000 square meters of land with olive trees, vines, fruit trees and a large vegetable garden, just below the imposing Etruscan city of Orvieto. The house was renovated in 2010 and is functional and comfortable with restored furniture from the family collection. The owner's family lives in a separate building on the property; cats, dogs and chickens are also housed in the property. In the valley below Orvieto and about 1.2 km from the house passes the A1 motorway and the Milan-Rome-Naples railway. The house is an ideal base for visiting Umbria, southern Tuscany and Rome, easily reached in an hour by car or public transport. Parking in the closed property. House facilities: private entrance, heating, mosquito net, tiled marble floor, seating area, sofa, fireplace, radio, video, flat-screen TV, clothes rack, dining area, dining table, kitchen, electric kettle, kitchen utensils, oven, toaster, washing machine, refrigerator, dishwasher, dryer, bedrooms, wardrobe, desk, bed linen, iron, shower, bidet, towels, cleaning products. Rob, Lisa Marie and their son Jack are a fantastic family that every host would feel lucky to host. Adorable, discreet, curious about what surrounds them and of great personality. Very nice and friendly, it was very easy to communicate with them even if unfortunately we did not see each other much but we had the chance to chat a little almost every day. Sunny, smiling and pleasant people, ideal for sharing travel and life experiences together. They liked the suggestions to make their stay more interesting and they respected all the rules of the house and in particular they left it in perfect order. Meeting people like them renews the joy of our choice to share our home and our life. We will be happy to host you again in the near future! How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send PIERLUIGI (the owner) a message.

If PIERLUIGI (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
