The Palms at Mandalay Shores has 2 Bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Recently updated, this beach home is located in the Mandalay Shores neighborhood and offers an ideal location for travelers! Guests can enjoy walks on the beach, nearby golf courses, Channel Islands Harbor & Maritime Museum, Ventura Harbor Village, plus local shops and seafood restaurants. The more adventurous can take the bikes on a ride to the beach, the local farmers' market, or visit the shops at the Marina.

This home offers a tri-level floor plan, vaulted ceilings with gorgeous beams, and many windows--all which make for a very open and airy design. On the third level, the Front bedroom has a unique built-in Queen bed, giving one the feeling of climbing into a tree house. The Back bedroom has a lovely Queen bed where, on a clear day, you can almost see the ocean through the large windows. A den sleeps 2 more with a full-sized futon and a cozy cot, and an inflatable air-mattress stowed away sleeps another 2 people, for a total of 8 guests accommodated at The Palms at Mandalay Shores.

A full bath is shared by the two bedrooms upstairs, and a powder room is conveniently located on the first floor, near the Laundry room. There is a covered carport for your vehicle and plenty of off-street parking.

Activities abound! Take an excursion boat to the Channel Islands National Park, where there are unique species of plants and wildlife, as well as spectacular scuba diving and snorkeling.

Drive 10 min to enjoy the shopping on Main Street in Ventura, or 20 min to the charming & artistic town of Ojai. Don’t forget the scenic 25-mile drive to gorgeous Santa Barbara or a little farther to the Danish town of Solvang!

After a day of exploring, guests can grill steaks on the back patio, play board games, surf the Web via Wi-Fi, take in the sunset, or relax in front of a movie. The open floor plan makes for easy entertaining, and gourmets can cook to their heart’s content in the fully equipped kitchen.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
