Located on the golden sands of Mandalay Shores, a tranquil beach community. Enjoy morning coffee, watching the frolicking dolphins, overlooking the Pacific from the two decks. This three story unit enjoys breathtaking ocean views just steps to the sand. There is a beach park directly in front of the property. Just call out to speak to your kids.

The living room, dining area, kitchen and the two bedrooms all look out to the sea. The two upper bedrooms and living room have sliding patio doors that open onto a spacious deck, inviting in the sea breezes. The kitchen is a delight and has been newly remodeled. The master bath has a clawfoot tub. The second bedroom has bunk beds and a trundle underneath, which will accommodate three. There is also an outdoor shower for convienence when returning from the beach.

It is home to nine marinas, unique shopping, and great waterfront restaurants. You can hop on a boat for a fishing excursion, whale watching or a trip to the channel islands. Or, drive up the coast to Santa Barbara for world-class entertainment, dining and wineries.

We also include lots of beach gear such as portable beach chairs, chaises, umbrellas and sand toys for your fun.

Our house is perfect for a vacation stay at the beach. However, we do not accept groups that will use the house for a party. It is not allowed in our homeowners association and we respect our neighbors right to a peaceful surroundings. Please do not look to book this house for that use. There are other houses that will accept a group party.

The guest had cancelled the reservation and the terms and conditions for TripAdvisor say that if you cancel the stay too close to your arrival date, the deposit is not refunded as the dates can not be booked timely, so the deposit is lost. The guest is responsible for the changes they make. All of this is done by the software on the site. The terms and conditions are agreed to by the user when they sign up. I did not make the changes to the reservation. That was done by the guest and they would like me to be responsible.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Gary (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
