From the owner

The name Desiderio is in honor of the super tuscan wine Desiderio by Avignonesi. This wine vineyard is located only 20 km by our country villa at Fattoria le Capezzine in between Cortona and Montepulciano. It is a 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Desiderio is 2 floors guest house at the hedge of the main building.

On the ground floor there is a double living room with flat TV, DVD, Ipod speaker, fireplace and a kitchen fully equipped + 1 guests bathroom.

On the second floor there are 2 large double bedrooms, one bathroom with shower . From the windows of the upper floors the guests can admire the beautiful landscape that surrounds the villa that is truly breathtaking and amazing! The garden can be reached from the outside and it also hosts a patio that includes a barbecue, dining area, table etc.

The home includes a large porch with a BBQ, outdoor sofa and dining area. It has direct access to the eco infinity swimming pool (shared with the other units of Fonte Girasole) that faces sunset on Tuscany and Umbria.

ALSO INCLUDED: AC, SMART TV LCD , DVD, IPOD SPEAKER, RADIO, WI-FI, LINES, TOWELS ALSO FOR THE POOL, HAIR DRYER, DISH WASHER, WASHING MACHINE. THE KITCHEN IS FULLY EQUIPPED. AND OF COURSE FARM PRODUCTS AND THE EDUCATIONAL FARM.

PLUS: We are able to provide you with any extra service in case you might need, such as airport transfers, excursions and events. We can also provide ‘tailor made’ services that you might wish to have.

And most importantly: we are passionate in what we do and we can make you feel at HOME away from your home! Your personal travel assistant will help you with everything you might need during your stay at Fontegirasole.

Our welcome team is composed of professional bilingual Italian operators and they knows all about Umbria & Tuscany and they can give you detailed tourist information all time.

All guests are personally welcomed by the owners and will receive personal attention and care during their stay. Everything possible will be done to assure an unforgettable holiday experience. When in season, guests may take advantage of free products (fruit and vegetables) from the organic garden.

A library of English language books is provided. You can browse the selection of art books, guides, maps, brochures and tourist information about the wonderful places to visit in the area.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lucia (the owner) a message.

If Lucia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
