A little bit about us: We are Navajo owned large acreage working sheep ranch and off grid b&b on the Navajo nation atop a mesa overlooking Lake Powell, the Colorado River, etc.

The Check In:
Upon Arrival STOP and CHECK IN at our house.
The Accommodation:
The accommodations are well appointed. Outfitted with the basic necessities one will need for a pleasant stay - All bedding, linens, wool blankets and sleeping bags for good measure. Candles, candle lanterns, a flashlight, and a solar light. Books, games, snacks, juice, and water.
The Climate:
We are medium to high desert - warmer or strong sun days and cooler nights. Our ranch is at elevation 5500'. Please bring the appropriate clothing for the environment and climate at this time of year. We suggest clothing layers, closed toed shoes, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and plenty of water to stay hydrated.
The Toilet Facilities:
There are several well serviced, well maintained, and clean outhouses/portapotties on the property.
The Way to Bathe:
Shash Dine' respects that water is a precious commodity in the desert. For your comfort, bathing water is provided in a container that is heated by the sun. There is a private "camp shower." Amenities of shampoo, soap, etc., will be available in your accommodation. ***Please bring your own towel as we do not provide one for you.***
This stay is very minimalist. One will be immersed in nature.
The Breakfast and Area Restaurants:
We provide a "hiker's breakfast" of fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, breakfast bars, juice, coffee & Navajo Tea. All other meals can be sourced in town at the numerous restaurants. (we can send suggestions).

The Directions:
Detailed directions will be set in a following email. On the day of your arrival please call or email us regarding your approximate arrival time. Please plan to arrive early during the daylight hours to fully experience our ranch. We require guests to arrive during daylight hours to get settled in and oriented (Usually before 7PM MST. Winter months the sun sets much earlier. We are on Arizona time, mountain standard time - MST. We DO NOT observe Daylight Savings). We are an off grid (no electricity/no running water) working sheep ranch and b&b. Upon Arrival Check In At Our House.
Our ranch is 12 miles south of Page, AZ.
