Local activities include: Skiing during the winter, paddle board, canoeing, fishing, hiking, the local hot springs, bicycling, horseback riding, hot air balloon rides, local spas, shopping, restaurants and more! We are 5 miles NW of uptown and about a 20-minute drive to downtown Pagosa Springs.
This is our guesthome, located down the hill from the owner's residence and is quietly tucked away on 15 enchanted acres. You'll feel right at home the moment you walk into the door entering into the expansive living room with panoramic views of the countryside and mountains. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen for preparing your own meals. Sit on the balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea, or enjoy an evening sunset with a glass of wine. Please note: this home is multi-level with many stairs, 2 balconies and the owner does not feel it's suitable for children under 3 years of age.
THINGS TO DO: For families, tubing at the river is very popular, as is miniature golf, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, historic train ride (Durango), hot air balloon rides and the hot springs! It's quite an amazing place surrounded in nature. Many people come to Pagosa JUST for the hot springs which is considered "Healing Waters" from the deepest geothermal springs in the world! There are a lot of great restaurants in Pagosa Springs! We recommend Thai Pagosa, LaTaqueria, Old Town Natural Market & Deli, Kip's Grill, Riff Raff Brewery, Borde Rio, Tavern Le Boeuf and Marconi's Italian Restaurant.
