From the owner

This comfortable, terraced house in Pakefield has a lovely position overlooking a large grassed area with the beach and sea beyond. Having the footpath in front of the house means it's safe for children and cars don't block the view. The sand and pebble beach in front is only a few steps away. Pakefield is a quiet village just south of Lowestoft, a traditional sea side resort, with wide, sandy award winning beaches. These are within easy walking distance along the sea promenade lined with colourful beach huts. Lowestoft is also the home of the Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park.

A short drive takes you along the beautiful Suffolk heritage coast to Southwold, Walberswick, Minsmere, Dunwich and Aldeburgh. Norwich with its shops and historic attractions is within easy reach by car or train. Oulton Broad, 2 miles, offers excellent facilities for boat trips on the Norfolk Broads. Shops 200 m, pubs 100 m away. Parking at the rear of the house in a quiet cul-de-sac (off-road).

- dining area with round dining table & chairs, dresser with games

Sliding porch door leads from back room to enclosed back garden, mostly paved and with garden furniture. The front garden is a great place to sit and enjoy the view and soak up some sunshine!

Upstairs:

Bathroom with toilet, sink and bath at the top of the stairs. There is an electric shower over the bath.

Twin bedroom (back of the house) with two adult single pine beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers, bedside lamps

Double bedroom with fantastic sea view, normal size double bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps

Single bedroom with fantastic sea view, adult single bed, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe, small TV (not a Smart one)

Upstairs is carpeted (except for the bathroom)

The house is also very cosy in the colder months of the year.

Excellent location, excellent host

Lovely cottage on the seafront. Perfect for beach walks. Close to 2 grocery stores, pub, fish shop. Host very responsive and helpful. Clean, tidy house with all amenities. A very comfortable stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Eline (the owner) a message.

If Eline (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
