If you are looking for a quiet and spacious place away from the noise and crowd of a town you have found the right place. Villa Archon located in a very small and safe traditional settlement just 12 km away from Paleochora, a place with 18 Km of beaches of every kind and for every taste.
Villa Archon is an imposing design building that consists of two independent living units but also functions as a single residence. It is built on a sloping level which results in two independent ground floor apartments with two main entrances connected by an internal staircase.The two different sections of the house are separated from each other by an internal door that can be locked.
It is ideally designed to accommodate one or even two families or a small group with the appropriate privacy.
Villa Archon situated in an altitude of 550 meters that ensures a pleasant chill during the never-ending summer sun while captures magnificent mountain views as far the Libyan Sea.
Due to the location "Archon" can be used as a focal point for exploring the wild beauties and the untouched beaches of the southwest, or as a country retreat to loosen yourselves in the tranquillity and discreet luxury of the house.
In order to reduce your cost for reservations of up to 4 people we offer only the main apartment on the upper level of the villa which is 150sqm. and we believe it is more than enough. In this option all the exterior courtyards, gardens, furniture of the lower and upper levels of the villa will be at your disposal but you will not only have access to the interior of the lower level apartment. In this option we assure you that respecting your privacy the lower apartment will remain closed and will not be rented to anyone else during your stay.
The Main -upper level- apartment can comfortably accommodate a family of four and even more with extra beds.
It is consisted of a 50sqm living and dining room with a traditional attic which can be used as an office or as an extra bedroom.
A fully equipped kitchen area is separated and situated at a slightly lower level.
At the same part of the villa there are two air-conditioned bedrooms and two well designed private bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a king size stone-build bed and a balcony with an amazing view while the second bedroom has two comfortable traditional iron beds and a French door which leads directly to a peaceful yard. A baby cot can easily be placed in the master bedroom free of charge upon request.
The huge veranda beside the living room is furnished and has an unhindered view that is offered for a romantic dinner or lunch.
For reservations for more than 4-5 people we additionally provide you the apartment of the lower level of the villa.
The Lower level apartment has also a well equipped kitchen with a small living room.
The Master bedroom contains a King size bed.
The second bedroom is air-conditioned and has two comfortable industrial style iron beds and a French door which leads directly to a peaceful furnished yard.
The bathroom is decorated in a country style and has shower.
In our fenced court yards, verandas and balconies your Kids will have a break to get a chance to run, climb or jump while the adults can be recompensed by the unique smell of the Cretan nature as the local herbs and flowers will wake up all your senses.
With patios on all 4 sides you can seek sun or shade. The almost constant fresh breeze gives a relief from the endless summer sun.
For our little friends with no charge but on request we can provide safety doors and nets where necessary, baby cot, high chair are even a pram and of course a lot of toys for all ages so as the grown-ups to be more relaxed and careless.
A welcome pack provided at no charge at the arrival including tea, coffee, sugar, toast bread, butter, marmalade, eggs, milk, juices, fruits, mineral water and of course olive oil.
Archon Villa is situated 12 km away from some of the best coastlines of Crete, in Paleochora village which also called as -The Libyan Bride- due to its natural beauties. An 18km coast line is there to explore it.
