Welcome to Castaways, a 4 bedroom, tropical luxury home just five minutes walk to the beautiful beach and restaurants of Palm Cove.
Located in the prestigious Oceans Edge Estate, the beach and Palm Cove Esplanade are just a 10 minute walk across a scenic boardwalk which is also lit up at night. It offers the perfect tropical getaway to relax while still being able to enjoy all the restaurants and facilities of the local area. Palm Cove Village is a fun and relaxing beach front filled with café life, alfresco dining, boutiques and galleries.
The open plan living, kitchen and dining area wrap around the heated saltwater swimming pool and open onto the alfresco dining area and separate gazebo for lounging and relaxation . Foxtel and Internet available.
Inside the fully air conditioned house, the master bedroom which is well placed away from the other bedrooms for added privacy, features a walk in robe and an extra large ensuite with double shower.
There are two more double bedrooms with queen beds and storage and a fourth bedroom with two singles that can be zipped into a king on request. The bedrooms have been artfully decorated in keeping with the Queensland climate and benefit from blackout plantation shutters.
A full family bathroom is serviced by a shower and separate bath.
The house has been designed and built by a local award winning building company specially to capture the welcome cooling breezes and beautiful views of the Melaleuca trees.
Guests also enjoy free access to the Oceans Edge Health Club including fully equipped gym, 25 meter lap pool, sauna and timetabled classes only 2 minutes walk away at the country club (not incl. squash).
It's four bedroom sister house "Sandcastles" is only a couple of meters away which would afford 8 bedrooms if they were booked together.

Far North Queensland is a destination within itself, and Palm Cove is the perfect outpost to base yourself to explore all that it has to offer. An easy 25-minute drive from Cairns City, Palm Cove is one of the most loved resort beach towns, it's bounded by the lush tropics of Macalister Range National Park, and its palm-fringed esplanade and patrolled swimming beach graces many a postcard. Combine this with boutique shopping and world-class dining, and you have one destination you will be in no rush to leave.
The best places to explore from Palm Cove:
One of Australia's biggest drawcards, the Great Barrier Reef traverses a whopping 2,300 kilometres and can be seen from outer space. The colourful marine life and reef system can be explored either by boat or up in the air, but our advice is to gear up and dive in with one of the many operators in and around Palm Cove.
