Villa Diazul offers guests panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean from atop the lush tropical hills of the exclusive Rio Mar Beach Resort, and is an ideal Caribbean getaway for the traveler looking to simply relax or to enjoy the best the enchanted island of Puerto Rico has to offer in outdoor adventure and recreation. As one of the premiere resorts on the northeast coast of the island, Rio Mar offers access to a secluded sandy beach, oceanfront pools, and other resort amenities.

Guests at the two-story Villa Diazul will enjoy the spacious open floor plan with a bright and airy kitchen, a large dining area for entertaining, and an inviting living room that spills out onto a large terrace with sweeping views out to the azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Villa Diazul offers two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, a twin size trundle bed also in the first floor bedroom, a very comfortable queen size sleeper sofa in the living room, two baths, a smart TV with Roku and bluetooth enabled sound system, and WiFi internet access. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning, and one bedroom has a private balcony. It can accommodate up to seven guests. You will have complete access to the Cluster II private pool and also the Rio Mar Beach Club that offers an expansive pool by the beach and bar.

The delightful Villa Diazul is situated in one of the most beautiful resorts on the island and an unbeatable location due to the proximity to many attractions. As the owner, I became captivated by the Mediterranean architecture with terracotta roof tiles, high ceilings, terracotta floor tiles, mediterranean bathroom tiles, large windows offering a stunning view, and the unique floor plan that makes this place so distinguished from any other place around.

One of the unique features of Villa Diazul is its location. When you enter the villa and look out across the main terrace, you will find one of the most beautiful Caribbean views you can imagine. You will be captivated by the expansive view of the resort, golf course, ocean, palm trees, lush hills, and the magnificent El Yunque rainforest. The subtle ocean breeze will ease your stress and put you in the relaxed vacation mode you are looking for, but, at the same time when you want real excitement and adventure, you are just a few minutes away.

When you're ready to venture outside of the resort, you have easy access to the El Yunque National Forest, the only tropical rain forest in in the U.S. National Forest System, just a short ten minute drive away. The nearby Carabali Rainforest Adventure Park offers horseback riding, ATVs, go-kart racing, and mountain biking. Culture and history are easy to find in Old San Juan just 45 minutes away where visitors can experience the island's rich Spanish heritage and colonial architecture.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Hector (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
