Welcome to Winston Cottage Bed and Breakfast - Sunshine Coast Hinterland B&B

In the Palmwoods countryside, yet only minutes from all the major attractions

So near and yet so far. Come visit our quality bed and breakfast. Explore the hinterland villages, spend a day at the beach or shop till you drop in some amazing locations. Check out the burgeoning live music scene in nearby Nambour. Whatever you look for in a vacation you will find it here.

Exclusivity

We only have one suite, so you can relax knowing that with the exception of us and our pets, you have the place all to yourself.

Convenience

A mere five minutes off the Bruce Highway, we are only one hour from Brisbane, in the geographic heart of the Sunshine Coast. We also make the perfect stopping off point for travellers heading north or south as one of the closest accommodation providers to the M1.

Stunning Breakfast Choices

As food lovers, we pride ourselves on the quality of the breakfasts we offer. From home cured bacon along with fresh eggs from our chooks, to our own smoked salmon eggs benedict, home made yoghurt and artisan breads, we aim to please. Vegetarian options are available as well. If you have any other specific requests, just ask! We are happy to serve breakfast anytime from 5.30am on for those guests travelling further afield, or with a big day planned enjoying the Sunshine Coast.

Please note

Although Winston Cottage is primarily aimed at the couples market, we can accommodate up to four people. We have an extremely comfortable sofa which converts to a queen size slat bed so we can cater for two couples or a couple with one or two children. Please contact us directly to discuss your needs and we will confirm the price with you then. We would ask you NOT to use the booking page as this has been designed for our primary "couples" market and the advertised rate will not apply.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Winston Cottage (the owner) a message.

If Winston Cottage (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
