This enchanting, well-equipped & spacious four-bedroom detached house, with its own garden, is quietly situated yet only a short walk from sandy beach, shops, restaurants and bars of Playa de Pals. With several beaches, pool, fantastic snorkelling, golf and local medieval towns nearby, there is something for everyone.

The villa is built in the Catalan style with white plaster walls, and doors and window frames/shutters of varnished pine. It is equipped throughout to a high standard. It sleeps 8 comfortably and has space to relax, within the house, on the large covered terrace, or on the lawn in its garden. It has a pleasant view and overlooks the gardens and pool of the Sa Punta restaurant, rated one of the finest in the region. The house is surrounded by scented pines and the immediate vicinity comprises an abundance of green in which there are other detached houses set off quiet roads with little traffic.

In summer most meals will be taken outdoors on the large covered terrace, which has a built-in BBQ.

Playa de Pals is a small resort set in the most beautiful part of the Costa Brava between Barcelona and the French border. It is mainly composed of villas set around a village centre, in which can be found the typical facilities of a beach resort. The beach is sandy and extends for a considerable distance, while there are a number of additional smaller beaches in sandy coves within a short walk or drive. There are two magnificent golf courses nearby, and all sorts of water sports are available. Pals itself is an unspoilt medieval walled town, a must for any visitor. Inland, the countryside consists mostly of wooded hills, with a view to the distant Pyrenees. Local vineyards produce both wine and cava; it's great fun to taste before buying!

Playa de Pals is a summer resort. In early Spring and in Autumn many shops and restaurants are closed, though a good number of each remain open. Our low-season prices reflect this. If in low season the nights should be cold, the house can be heated with a combination of log fire, gas heater and electric heaters.

The bedrooms comprise an en-suite master bedroom with king-sized double bed, a second bedroom with queen-sized double bed, a third bedroom with two beds that can be used either as two single or one double, and a fourth bedroom will two single beds. They all have duvets and pillows. A child's cot may be hired at a cost of €15.

Please note that sheets and bath towels are included in the rental price. Please bring your own beach towels.

Opposite, there is the large pool of Sa Punta restaurant. Please note that the pool is reserved for customers. If you make a point of making yourself customers by taking a meal there and then taking drinks by the pool whenever you go, you may at the restaurant's discretion be able to swim. This is usually no problem.

We will send guests who have made the final payment: - keys of the house (by post to their preferred address); - detailed directions to find it; and - a copy of The Book, which includes detailed information about the house and the area (including beaches, places to visit, shops, restaurants, bars etc). Guests may enter from 16.00 on the day of arrival. On departure, we ask guests to vacate the house by 10.00 to give our cleaner time to prepare it for the next guests. The house is cleaned before and after your stay. We kindly ask guests to leave the house as they found it, to avoid a charge for any extra cleaning needed. Please also notify us of any breakages/damage, so that we can ensure all is in order for the arrival of the next family.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Frank (the owner) a message.

If Frank (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
