The villa has been built in 2016 according to the specifications of bioclimatic design using environmentally friendly materials. It is located at the top of a hill with panoramic view, 100 m South of Panormo. The old Christian church “Saint Sofia” of the 5th A.C century is also at a very close distance. The magical view to the open sea of Crete and to the wild mountains of the island, the quiet environment as well as its short distance from the small village of Panormo and the nightlife of Rethymno are the perfect combination for dreamy holidays. The simple style, elegant furniture and modern amenities create a truly delightful atmosphere that meets even the highest expectations.

Villa Giasemi is one of the three brand new villas of the “Sofia luxury villas” complex located at Panormo of Crete. The modern style, elegant furniture and modern amenities are combined aiming to create a greatly fascinating atmosphere that meets even the highest expectations. It is a luxury villa for a comfortable stay of 5 people. The villa is located at the top of the hill of an amazing location with view of the sea. The entire complex is only 300 m away from the beach which has been awarded with the “Blue” flag. Additionally, there is “Saint Sofia”, a 5th A.C century Christians’ church.

The residence is characterized by its modern and simple design while it combines the elegance and the aesthetics that promise a relaxed and carefree stay for dreamed holidays. The ground floor has an elegant and comfortable sitting room near the fireplace and a spacious balcony where you can rest while you enjoy the breathtaking view of the endless sea and your private swimming pool. Moreover, the villa has a fully equipped kitchen and toilette. Outside the villa, there is a beautiful garden with a variety of Cretan plants that offer the most joyful sense of smell.

The first floor has a bathroom and two spacious, airy and sunny bedrooms with their own balconies. They are perfectly located so you can enjoy a peaceful evening with your spouse or family while drinking a glass of your favourite Cretan wine. At the same time, you will be able to see the North with its breath-taking view of the sea and the picturesque village while the other balcony sees the South with the Cretan mountains and especially, the mountain “Psiloritis”. “Giasemi” is brand-new villa that has been built according to the most recent and environmentally friendly specifications. It is decorated with modern furniture aiming to offer you a pleasant stay in the beautiful island of Crete. The residence is isolated from the crowd making your holidays more relaxed while offering you the privacy you wish for. At the same time, every facility you will need is very close.

The villa offers accommodation with panoramic views over the Cretan Sea. The property is 300 m from Panormo Beach also known as Limni beach. Panormo village is a located right in the middle of the North Coast of Crete, 22km east of Rethymno and 55km west Heraklion. It is one of the most beautiful seaside villages of Crete (it actually belongs to the “Network of the most Beautiful Villages of Crete”), featuring picturesque stone paved alleys, two beautiful organized beaches and a wide range of shops and restaurants. It has a population of 400 people, which doubles or triples every summer.

The wider area around Panormo features many natural and archaeological attractions. Visit the lighthouse on the Hondrokavos Cape, about 800m from the center of the village, to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen. Also, make sure that you visit the remains of Agia Sophia Church. It was built in the 5th century, the early Christian times, and was excavated in1948. In its days, it was one of the biggest Christian Royal Churches of Greece.

The industrial monument of “Charoupomylos” (an old carob factory converted into a modern cultural center), situated 50m from Lygaries Villas, offers the possibility to enjoy unique cultural events. Make sure that you ask for the event calendar. Access to the village is very easy since it is located practically on the Northern National Road Axis connecting all of Crete. Access to the south is equally easy.

We had a lovely stay at Sofia luxury villas. We stayed in Villa Giasemi which was the villa at the back of the complex and therefore furthest from the road, although the road didn’t bother us at… More

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
