La Boulaie

Is a self catering cottage with gardens and a private swimming pool (guest use only) - with excellent facilities it's just like home from home but being situated in the countryside in a small hamlet between Vernoil Le Fourrier and Parcay Les Pins it's easy to find yourself immerged in the relaxed French way of life. The cottage (gite) sits in a little hamlet just outside the villages with 2 bedrooms with kingsized beds (one en suite wet room), fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room and family bathroom. The lounge has a beautiful exposed beamed ceiling and enticing fireplace with a log burning fire. The settees in the living room pull out giving two additional king sized beds if required.

The cottage is within a short walking distance of Parcay for fresh baked bread from the Boulangerie, tabacs (bar/cafe) and has a convenience store for any items you may have forgotten. Whilst in the village of Vernoil you will find a pharmacy, vets (English speaking), butchers, bakery, hairdressers, tabacs and larger supermarket. For a more vibrant night life, Saumur is within easy driving distance for a superb choice of restaurants, local markets and shops you would expect to find in a busy town centre.

They have lived in the village for a number of years so have a good understanding of the local area and amenities. Guests are sent details of places to visit / eat in the surrounding area that may be of interest and nearer the time of the stay will receive Welcome Details stating everything they will need to know about the cottage and contact details in case of emergency.

A fabulous Gite, well furnished and equipped set in a large garden and with a lovely swimming pool. The local area is beautiful and lots of small towns with markets, cafes and chateaus to visit

Why can't I call Rebecca (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rebecca (the owner) a message.

If Rebecca (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
