Drive, bike or even walk to wineries in minutes. Be in downtown Paso Robles in 10 min or head to scenic Hwy 1, the beach towns and Hearst Castle in just 30 minutes!

Enjoy the serenity, views, stars and wine country charm of Oakdale Ranches 32 acres. Nestled in the oak trees on the top of a hill you can relax into your own private retreat. This guest house is for those seeking independence with a Bed & Breakfast feel. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or memorable vacation with a friend. Maybe you will choose snuggle up in our spa robes to enjoy a complementary bottle of wine on the porch, take in the scenery and stars or take a walk to the whale bones for sunset, either way this location will completely tailor itself to your vacation style.

Just steps away is the original historic Templeton Saloon built in 1886. We call it the The 86 Saloon. Guests are welcome to bring in drinks and play bartender or a game of poker. You can get a little crazy with no need to worry about driving home just don't get 86ed :)

We would love to respond to the comment about the kitchen and bath. We have been listing this property for over 2 years and this is the first comment of this type we have received. Our reviews on other sites have been 5 stars for cleanliness. The bathroom and kitchen floor were redone along with the claw foot tub being refinished in June 2010. The only thing we can think of is that at the time this guest stayed we had a different toilet that had some hard water stains (we have hard water and it can to leave a mineral residue) It has since been replaced. We also have a maid and it is a possibility that maybe the cabin was not cleaned as well as usual? We really don't know as we have not gotten clarification from this guest to the specifics of the problem. It is important to us that our guests enjoy their stay and leave feeling like the cabin is a good value. Guest feedback helps us improve.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Crystal (the owner) a message.

If Crystal (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
