From the owner

500 m of Bordes and SAFFRON (Turbomeca), 8 km from Pau and 30 kms from Lourdes. Less than an hour from the ski resorts and at 1 h 15 from the sea and the Spanish border.

Small house adjoining the property of 45 m 2 for 4 persons maximum with mezzanine, air conditioning (supplement) and bed of 160 cms. Composed of a kitchen, coffee maker, Toaster, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave and all utensils. Bathroom, lounge/dining room with TV large flat screen plasma and wifi. Terrace with garden furniture and Sun bathing, all on 100 m 2 of lawn. Sheets, duvets and towels are provided.

Small clarification: the Pyrenees are some 200 peaks at more than 3,000 metres above sea level. At our doors, large ski areas extend the Pyrenean peaks. Six ski resorts including the nearest less than an hour from the city.

The visit of the Bernadotte Museum in Pau, and Bétharram caves where the course takes place on foot, boat and small electric train. The National Park of the Pyrenees, one of the seven french national parks.

The path of Santiago de Compostela is a few KMS only. Etc...etc...

In the mountains you can do hiking, climbing, canyoning, caving, snowshoeing, snow... The Béarn and its mountain lend themselves perfectly to all sports.

In summer, you can, if you wish, to prepare your walking shoes, a snack bar and your camera to the path of Henri IV, Pau to Lourdes.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Louis (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
