Paul do Mar plenty to do! The village has a small FOOD SHOP, a bakery and coffee shop, an ATM, a public health centre, bars/cafes & restaurants. Popular activities in and around the village are: levada forest walks, fishing, sea swimming, snorkelling and surfing. There are many festas (festivals) & the streets are alive with different languages as emigrants return from abroad for most of the year for a well-earnt holiday with family and friends in the paradise of PAUL DO MAR!

Free swimming is easy from certain points in PAUL DO MAR including the lagoon next to the harbour and the white sand beaches in Calheta town -10 minutes drive away.

From Calheta marina dolphin whale watching big game fishing boats operate.

Also in Calheta town area there are the Free white sand beaches, the international art centre Casa das Mudas, a Rum Museum, small shopping centres and a supermarket.

Prazeres village has a small zoo, art galleries & restaurants.

How do damage deposits work?
