Now open, award winning 5* standard, Nestling next to a 16th Century Old Rectory "Nos Da" is a contemporary 2 bedroom, two bathroom cottage (converted to a very high standard, from a dog kennel), built at the foot of a Norman Mote and Bailey Castle mound and 100 yards from a Norman church which still serves the local community twice a month, with the remains of a Roman camp just 200 yards so steeped in history. This detached, single-storey holiday cottage sits in the owners grounds of some 4 acres of delightful Gardens, which you are welcome to explore and is set in its own private garden and terrace, ideal for relaxing or alfresco dining with a gas BBQ provided. This two bedroom two bathroom single story cottage has an open plan "kitchen, dining, living room with bi-fold doors out onto the private terrace" with a log burner with an abundance of logs, perfect for a cosy night in. While staying at "Nos Da" Why not visit Cardiff (15 mins by train or just a 30 min easy drive), the bustling capital of Wales, which is a must for the abundance of shops and theatre's, or a visit to the Millennium centre in Cardiff bay to see a fantastic show or even the Principality Stadium, one of the world’s greatest sporting venues. The ancient market town of Cowbridge with its fine award winning restaurants, tea rooms, bars and small boutiques, shops, crafts and art galleries is just 6 miles away and also offers easy access to the M4 and train links just 1.5 miles away, giving access to all that South Wales can offer you. If you are looking for coastal scenery, Ogmore Beach, Porthcawl and many more beaches are an easy 20 minute drive away or why not venture further afield to the stunning scenery of the sandy beaches, bays and coves of the Gower. The wild expanses of the Brecon Beacons is a 40 minute drive with the popular tourist climb to Pen y Fan which is a walkers delight. "Nod Da" therefore provides you with the peace and tranquility of the country side, with close proximity to a beautiful coastline and many attractions that South Wales has to offer, with something for everyone on your doorstep.

"Now Da" comes with a welcome including a bottle of wine , bread and butter as well as tea coffee and milk. The pack also includes enough products to cook your own welsh breakfast for your first morning. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which includes a bath and shower, the second bedroom has two full sizes single beds which can be converted into a superking bed, should this be required and has access to the second family shower room.

Why can't I call Steve and Sue (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to view all your booking details, pay the balance of your holiday or cancel it if you need to.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Steve and Sue (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Steve and Sue (the owner) a message.

If Steve and Sue (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
