Sunrise at Penguin is a recently renovated holiday home facing North so you can watch the sun rise and sun set from throughout the house.

Situated in the garden belt of Penguin with a small idyllic and safe beach only 30 metres away.

Geographically central on the north west coast to visit Cradle Mountain, Tarkine Forests, historic Stanley, Hellyer Road Distillery and Leven Canyon.

Located on the Perry-Ling Flower Garden road between Ulverstone and Penguin, many guests are taken by our wonderful scenery and position to the town and beach and countryside.

Her Singapore family enjoyed the central location to many tourist locations especially the penguin viewing area at Lillico's Beach between Ulverstone and Devonport. Wonderful to have these Targa guys stay at our premises during a difficult period in their racing - was great to see their spirit to succeed after a disappointing break down of their car. They all enjoyed the early morning sunshine on the front deck to share a coffee and left the house particularly tidy - most welcome to stay again.

Why can't I call Terry (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Terry (the owner) a message.

If Terry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
