This semi-detached stone cottage, adjoining the owners home, is situated down a quiet lane on the outskirts of the market town of Penistone in South Yorkshire and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.St. Johns Cottage is a stone cottage, adjoining the owners home, situated down a quiet lane on the outskirts of the market town of Penistone in South Yorkshire. The cosy and comfortable sitting room features a warming woodburning stove and a stylish and well-equipped kitchen adjoins a welcoming dining area with French doors that overlook the garden. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and a delightful bathroom which boasts a freestanding roll-top bath, as well as a separate large shower unit. Outside there is off road parking for 1 car and a rear garden. St. Johns is the perfect getaway at all times of the year.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Smart TV with Freeview, radio, DVD, WiFi, selection of DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair. Off road parking for 1 car. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Note: Cottage stairs are steep, may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: There are steps between the lower patio and the lawned garden, plus with drops children need to be supervised at all times.

Town: Penistone, the highest market town in Yorkshire is one of the Pennines' best kept secrets and the ideal place to use as a base for exploring the region. Located at the foot of the Pennines there is plenty of open countryside and woodlands where you can walk for hours without meeting a soul and witness spectacular views along the way. Penistone has a wide range of amenities including pubs, shops and restaurants.
