Located half way between Falmouth and Truro, our cottage is set within 5 acres including orchard, 3 ponds, stream and ancient woods as well as walks across the fields.
We also have goats, ducks and chickens roaming the property
You will be staying in our charming four bedroom country cottage
The cottage is accessed from the car park across a footbridge which crosses a stream leading to the main front door. Inside there is a large living / dining area with wood burning stove. From this room, there is access to a utility room with washing machine.
The large kitchen / breakfast area is connected to the living room via a narrow hallway with cloakroom, the kitchen has a dual aspect looking out over the garden and chicken run. From the kitchen, there is a small entrance to the side of the house as well as the staircase leading upstairs.
Upstairs the main hallway weaves through the house accessing all bedrooms, there is also access to the rear garden.
The master bedroom has a super kin bed,is dual aspect and has an en suite electric shower, toilet and wash basin.
The second bedroom has a king bed and also has an en suite with large electric shower, toilet and wash basin.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed while bedroom 4 has bunk beds and has dual aspect looking out over the goat run. While these two bedroom do not feature an en suite bathroom, they are situated next to the family bathroom with toilet, with wash basin and shower over the bathtub.
There is parking for two cars in the car park.
You will have access to all parts of out land.
There are three ponds each bigger than the last, our ducks spend most of their time here but you can also spot kingfishers, heron and sometimes otters.
Across the car park from the ponds is the orchard with around 30 local variety's of apple, plum and pear trees which mature between August and October.
The cottage is accessed from the car park by crossing a little bridge over a small river, leading up to the front door is the flower garden and small lawn area to the left while a large decked area with gas BBQ and outside seating is to the right.
Following the path around the house you come to the kitchen garden and lawn with the chicken run just beyond, further around the house you can access the rear door and also meet our collection of cheeky goats and access the ancient woods where in spring the bluebells carpet the floor.
There is also access to the neighboring farmers fields for an afternoon stroll.
