Located at the back of an old olive garden at the edge of the village, offers a quiet and private experience. Modern and simplistic style with equally engaging indoor and outdoor resting places and playground for kids and those who feel like them :)
There are 2 bedrooms at your disposal. Both on the upper floor, divided by a bathroom/toilet but also connected by a balcony which opens up to a broad view of the surrounding greenery and nearby sea. You can enjoy the view right there (there are chairs and tables available) or decide to take a nap. Each bedroom has a large twin bed with spacious closet, TV set, air conditioning and commode.
The base floor is part kitchen/dining room and part living room. They also have air conditioning and a TV set and wireless internet access is provided as well. There is also a second bathroom/toilet next to the living room. If you don't plan on barbecuing the entire stay, the kitchen is quite equipped to handle most cuisine requirements.
The living room opens up to the porch that should provide enough shade to be a pleasant meal location during the day (it's sunny here!!!) and sufficient protection in case of bad weather (think droplets sound).
Guest Access
The olive garden is almost 2000 square meters in size and is entirely at your disposal. You can use it as a resting place, organise picnics, play ball or hide and seek with your friends and/or kids, wash the car or maybe just use the hose to fool around with the family members :-) There are also a few mini goals and a kids swing so the little ones can have a blast. There is also the barbecue, enough said!
Interaction with Guests
In the spirit of the house and your stay here, we usually leave you alone to enjoy your privacy and to explore the house and it's surroundings at your pace. But, we are always a phone call away, ready to help and jump in with any questions you might have. It is customary to introduce you, upon your arrival, to how things are organised in the village, how to get to the beaches and, if you are not tired from your voyage, we can help you with pointers to places and sights you might be interest in during your stay. But, of course, we can do that at some later time as well. Entirely up to you.
The Neighbourhood
If you plan on arriving in high season, you will most likely want to enjoy the clean sea and not crowded beaches. Well, you're in luck. The coastline beneath the house is rather diverse and offers a variety of options. It is only about 1,5 km from the house and is easily accessible by car. There are many unmade roads you can take, but most are easy on the car. For those with bikes, the options are virtually limitless.
Did we forget to mention the solitude of the place? The nearest neighbours are about 200 meters away. But, you are surrounded by nature. And every now and then you'll see a rabbit, goats, some horses and other wild life.
Peruski is a rather small village so you'll probably be seeking sights or wanting to explore more of Istria. If you are more of an adventurous type, then the nature around the house is quite a match. You can loose days exploring it. For more historical flavour, Pula and Rovinj are near, and of course any part of Istria is about an hours drive away.
Getting Around
The location of the village pretty much demands you arrive with your own transportation and use it throughout the stay. The public transport is available but it will take you only to the main city of Pula and it would be a shame not to see other parts of Istria as well.
Other Things to Note
Due to house size, we need some time to prepare it for next guests. With that in mind, we respectfully ask you to check in after 4 PM and checkout before 10 AM.
