Welcome to La Graule, a beautifully restored 17th century farmhouse set in it's own vineyard with spectacular views across the River Dordogne.
Situated amongst the rolling hills and vineyards of the Dordogne valley in the south west of France, La Graule is an idyllic rural holiday retreat. Located around 30 minutes drive from Bergerac airport and just over an hour from Bordeaux, it is the perfect base from which to explore the Dordogne and Gironde regions.
The property has 6 large bedrooms and can accomodate up to 14 people, making it ideal for 2/3 families. There are three rooms with double beds, two rooms with a double bed and a single bed, and one room containing two single beds. There is one bathroom and two shower rooms.
Whilst retaining it's French rustic charm, La Graule is fully equipped for modern living with Sky TV (freeview channels), DVD library, book library and childrens games. There is a games room with pool table, darts, games and seating. Ideal for young children there are two travel-cots and high chairs at the property. The modern kitchen contains all the appliances you will need including 2 large refridgerators (one for the groceries and one for keeping all of those drinks cold!), microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The centre-piece of the house is a grand open-plan lounge/dining room with a dining table seating 10.
Outside the spacious terrace is perfect for al-fresco' dining with spectacular views across the river Dordogne. Here there is a further dining table and a large six-ring gas barbecue.
If you are visiting outside of the summer months La Graule is fully winterised with central-heating, underfloor-heating and a wood burning stove in the lounge.
